Monthly Rentals in Potten End

We stayed in this beautiful Airbnb property for 11 days. It was exactly as the photos and the description . It was spotlessly clean and had everything you could wish for. The bed was super comfortable and the whole apartment was warm and cosy. It was beautifully put together with so many lovely little touches. Location was excellent with lots of good restaurants and coffee shops to choose from. Trudi was the perfect host. She was very responsive to questions before our arrival and very friendly and helpful during our stay - but also very respectful of our privacy. It was a fabulous experience from start to finish - and we were very sad to leave.

House was immaculate and very cosy. Everything I needed for a 3 day stop over. Patrick and Scott both very friendly and helpful. This place is on the shortlist if I’m back in the area.

I had the most wonderful stay at The Bakehouse—so much so that a part of me wants to keep this little gem a secret! Nestled in the enchanting town of Berkhamsted, this cozy cottage quickly became my perfect hideaway, and I would absolutely love to return. From the moment I arrived, Jeremy’s kindness set the tone for my stay. On a rainy day, he went above and beyond by picking me up at the train station—a gesture that instantly made me feel welcome and at home. The Bakehouse is tucked behind their home just off the high street, yet it feels incredibly private, peaceful, and sheltered from any noise. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and I couldn’t help but be reminded of Iris’s cottage in the movie The Holiday—a charming retreat with all the warmth and character you could wish for. The location is fantastic, with so much to explore nearby. Whether you’re planning a short getaway or a longer stay, I can’t recommend The Bakehouse highly enough. It’s a truly special place!

If you want access to both London and some lovely countryside, then this is the perfect place to stay.
