We stayed at several air bnbs during our two week visit to Portugal and this one was our favorite by far. Easy to check in, host communicated great and the house was squeaky clean and well decorated. The apartment does not have AC but if you open the windows in the evening there's a nice cool ocean breeze that comes through. Amazing top floor view. I hope to stay here again.

We are so sad to leave this beautiful place! The house’s description is very accurate to the T: perfect location- you will be able to explore the island easily, 4 equally sized bedrooms with a pullout as an extra, kitchen with all the utensils, pots, glasses, ect. Our favorite part was the rooftop deck with sunrises and sunrises! The host graciously made the reservations for local restaurants and recommended some extra activities that we didn’t include in our original plans. The communication was easy - usually reply came in 30 min. We would happily recommend this place to our friends and hopefully come back soon. Note: the house has lots of stairs that can create problems for people with limited mobility. It was not an issue for us but it might be an issue for some.

This property was a great place for my family’s first visit to Sao Miguel. The location is conveniently close to Ponta Delgada, but quiet with easier parking. The mini market at the end of the street is super convenient with all the basics and good prices. The space itself is well designed with a well stocked kitchen. Note soap and shampoo are not provided so bring your own; this is minor but good to know. We really enjoyed this property and would highly recommend.

Joe is an extremely nice host, and his place is just amazing. It's located right by the ocean, and you can always hear the gorgeous sound of the waves crashing. The apartment itself is very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great stay. During our trip, we had some trouble with our rental car, and Joe was very helpful in the situation, which we deeply appreciated. We would definitely stay here again the next time we're in São Miguel!

This was our second stay at Rita and Nuno’s place because we loved it so much! Comfortable, clean and very beautiful. Perfect for four people. We cooked meals at home and had everything we needed and the walk to Ponta Delgada is flat and peaceful along the water. It’s centrally located and was easy for us to explore all corners of the island. Highly recommend.

I can’t say enough positive things about the stay I had, everyone that worked with Monica made me feel like family, anything I needed I sent them a message and they responded immediately and took care of it all. They brought fresh breakfast every morning with juice and milk, and asked every night what time I needed it and if it was going to be an early morning, they put it out the night before for me. The marina is private, the boat is completely safe, spacious, clean and one of a kind. There are restaurants, food trucks, grocery stores, shops and really anything yoy need within a 10 minute walk. I will definitely be back and I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else.
