This is a little slice of heaven in the jungle. Truly majestic, a deep jungle experience and very different than anything we had done before. Pictures don’t do this place justice. Magical all around and words can’t describe. Unfortunately we had extremely bad luck with weather. Booked for the dry season on the carribean. (Goes until May). We expected some chance of rain every day but instead were socked in with torrential rain every day except one. The forecast was not improving so we made the very sad decision to vacate the property and forfeit 5 nights worth of dues. All of us were in tears to leave such a magical experience but we had traveled way too far to stay inside and watch buckets fall from the sky. I advise all to hope for the best and prepare for the worst on the carribean side. Had we been mentally prepared to spend our days inside and just enjoy the intensity of the jungle and torrential rain…. I think it could have been a much different experience for us.

The apartment is exactly as advertised, the place is spectacular, the pool is very clean and beautiful. Anyway, I would definitely stay with Loida again.

A charming Airbnb with a large, lovely garden that belongs to the Airbnb. You can watch animals from the veranda (and hear them, especially at night). The Airbnb has everything you need and is very clean. Particularly positive is the host (Masca) who, as a local, can tell you many interesting things about Costa Rica and its flora and fauna. We went on a chocolate tour with him and it was very worthwhile.
