This nautical themed home is fantastic!! Really fun and interesting decor. Comfy beds and nice sized bathrooms. All amenities were as described including the designated parking. The best thing of all though is the location!! Just steps from down town Galena! Price was a little bit high but there was no other available lodging and we booked on a moments notice. Great stay overall!! Will stay there again if in Galena!!

My family and I stayed here for about 2 weeks while I worked in the area. It was such a spacious and nice home, had all the kitchen/bath amenities that are needed and more. It’s a small town in a great neighborhood and couldn’t have been happier. Luz is a very kind and responsive host and would recommend it to anyone needing this size of a home in the area. We had a great stay here over the Easter holiday. The place is as listed and it was nice to have multiple beds available for each person. It is quiet, but not too far from town which was perfect for my family. The home is being renovated in places, but no issues that impacted our stay and we would definitely stay here again when in town. I would recommend this to anyone asking for a referral in Quincy.

Tyson not only made our stay feel at home, but he was the most accommodating host. Our wrestling team with 5 kids had a big kitchen, cozy living rooms, laundry area, and comfy bed rooms for all of us to stay. We would definitely consider this place again if we are needing to stay in the Des Moines area. Tyson was soo generous in letting the kids finish their laundry before we left the house. I even missed the most comfy bed in the master bedroom since leaving this house. I am going to have to consider getting one for myself. Tyson will make sure you are feeling at home and will be responsive if you need anything, and for this I recommend anyone who is looking to stay in the Des Moines area to check out this house when staying the night. Thanks Tyson for being soo generous and accommodating.

Summer Paradise just off Missouri River

This is a new home with great views. The house is all on the second story. We were visiting in the winter so we did not spend time outside- but there is a big wrap around deck. Bedrooms are all the same size (no fights over who gets the master) 😉 The kitchen is well laid out for cooking. All in all a great home base.
