Exceptionally Good Whispering Waves is an entire guest house to yourself. It’s beautiful. We were four friends seeking a break and what we found here was an exceptional experience. The beach access is just across the road. The sea view is AMAZING! The strolls along the cliffs are fantastic. Parking was easy in the driveway and self check in was convenient. The location is perfect —very close to Brighton train station and Brighton centre. Easy to take a taxi from train station as not far. We managed to visit Seven Sisters. A bus stop just around the corner. Lots of pubs and restaurants just across the street. Very vibrant area bustling with activities. It provided us the best of both worlds. The guest house was pristine, beautifully designed. It has everything you need from a dishwasher to a washing machine. Very comfortable. Nights were so clear. WOW! We spent the evening in the patio sofa. Will definitely come back. A perfect base for us.

Steve was a very congenial host, extremely helpful, very pleasant, understanding and when he found out I was a keen tennis player he even offered to introduce me to his local social tennis club! The property backs onto Chatsworth Park which has a whole range of facilities including two children’s parks, open spaces, nature trail and a memorial garden - walking to the park entrance at the top of the road and then walking the inside perimeter is exactly 1 mile. It’s also a lovely stretch walking up through the park to a local Tesco Express! We have really enjoyed our stay of two weeks - felt like a home, very comfortable. Also a very convenient location with a number of beauty spots within a short drive. Parking outside on the road is easy, plenty of spaces except at morning school drop off and 3pm school pick up as the property faces a Junior school - but the congestion only lasts about 10 mins., so it’s easy to avoid once you’re aware of the times! I would certainly stay here again!

We stayed for a couple of nights and had a great experience. Alex and Natalie were fantastic hosts, providing clear instructions and thoughtful local recommendations, from things to do in the area to places to eat and general advice, all of which we really appreciated. We mainly used it as a base to drive in and out of Brighton and also took a trip to the South Downs Planetarium in Chichester, which we’d definitely recommend. The place itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a short stay near Brighton.
