Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Parma

We had a great time over the winter holidays in this beautiful historical building in the heart of Parma. The house was clean and warm and has amazing spaces. Adriano was a great host, he explained in great detail the history of the building and its surroundings and gave us some good advice in events happening in the city. The only improvements I would suggest are: some extra (or new) pillows for the beds, a renovation of the first floor lighting (lights are quite low and bright) and perhaps a larger/comfier sofa for the living room. Overall we had a great experience!

Magnificent historic place, superb host: Caterina always looked out for us, communication was very fast and she is wonderful,without stress,but always ready to help us. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to be in an authentic place,in direct contact with nature and the best host possible.We will definitely be back. a big hug to Caterina

At our arrival we were struck by the beautiful area of the house, which is surrounded by hill views. The appartment was extremely tidy and smelled fresh. The appartment offers plenty of space, the kitchen is sufficient for home-cooked meals. Our little one of 2,5 years old had plenty of space to play around. One of the rooms is perfect for children. The outside terrace was also quite nice. The Parma area is perfectly located if you plan to visit several major cities (most within 2 hours drive) such as Milan, Verona, Bologna and Modena. Would definitely recommend!

Very comfortable house, clean and large pool. Pietro, despite not seeing him, was always available to respond and give us directions. The only downside is the location. You have to take a nice trip to do some things. But otherwise it's great.

We arrived very late due to a rescheduled flight, but Giovanni and Christina were there waiting for us. They were really helpful taking time to explain everything. They left us adults little gifts including wine and balsamic vinegar and as it was Halloween, they also left the children a spooky cake and a little Halloween corner. Lovely little touches that made us feel very welcome. The house is set in a spectacular setting. Our biggest regret is due to our full schedule, we didn’t spend enough time in it. Thank you to both of you for your kindness. The only thing that was wrong was that we didn’t have enough time there.

We stayed at this property during the Christmas holidays. This accomodations was ideal for us as it has 2 bedrooms, one of which could accomodate our baby bed, as well as two bathrooms so we could shower even when the baby was sleeping. Ideal location, close to the city center and with the big plus of private parking. The only upgrade I would suggest are the pillows, for the rest it was impeccable. We'll be back for sure at our next visit!

Really large apartment for 5 people in a very quiet area with 2 private gardens on the sides fully equipped with everything you can need both in the kitchen and in the bathroom with a washer and dryer. Very comfortable beds and pillows and warm home at the right point. Street parking in front of the apartment; supermarket really 100 steps from the house. Overall, a very kind and helpful experience, Mrs. Nadia was a pleasure to spend New Year's Eve in Cavriago on New Year's Eve 2025

Staying in the attic was like staying at home. Clean, very welcoming and with all the comforts; very close to the center allowing you to visit everything on foot. Close to beautiful places to eat the excellent Emilian specialties . The bus stop is very convenient, almost below the house; Alberto was very kind and available to every request and above all flexible for both check-in and check-in. Highly recommended, I'd be happy to go back...

We arrived in Parma super late in the afternoon and our initial pre-booked hotel had made a mistake and double booked. I requested to stay in Barbara’s place and she answered super fast, and we checked in 1,5 hour later. Thank you very very much 🙏 She made great recommendations for traditional trattorias and we ate at four of the restaurants! Lovely suggestions and quick responding time. The neighborhood is super cool, young and vibrant. You can feel real people are living and working there, not touristy at all. It takes 10 minutes of walking to Parma Centro. Felt safe all the time. The kitchen needs a few basics, like a knife, cutting board and a coffee maker/machine, so maybe it could be improved a bit. Beds were fined and soft and everything was super clean. We parked at the Kennedy Parking Site, 600 meters from the apartment. 12euros a day so super cheap. Parking in Italian cities is a nightmare and the apartment is also close but just outside ZLT signs.

Great little place, has everything needed for a comfortable stay and was in a good location for visiting a friend. Communication was great throughout. Definitely recommend.

Clean, impeccable house.

Francesca is a wonderful host, kind. The house is perfect, very clean and organized, I had a great time, felt like home.

It was like being at home... clean, bright apartment equipped with everything I could need in the kitchen and bathroom. A coffee maker was available for breakfast, with its pods and a kettle with different varieties of herbal teas, tea and chamomile. The apartment is very close to the center of Casalmaggiore, I recommend a walk both in Piazza Garibaldi and along the banks. Beatrice, the girl who checked us in was very helpful and provided, she provided me with a list of supermarkets and pizzerias in the area. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Davide's place for two nights with our dog. The apartment was all we needed, it was clean, had all the necessary amenities, good area and spacious. Davide provided us with all the necessary information and gave us many suggestions on how to spend our days in Parma. Great host. Thank you Davide

For many years I wanted to visit Parma, the Regio and above all the cycle of the Antelami Months. For my birthday, I looked for a place to stay and was impressed by Mrs. Manferdelli's proposal. It is a cozy and quiet artist apartment, full of creative ideas and suggestions of shapes, words, and colors. Equipped with all comforts, including a coffee maker, very close to the train station and a short walk from the historic center, which can also be reached with a walk along the stream. In the first surroundings, supermarkets and food for tasteful dinners. Our guest, with exquisite availability, made us feel welcome. We will also return, if possible, on the occasion of some operatic performances, of which, in the house, there are several books and prints.

Rodolfo's apartment is in a great location to visit Parma: in the Oltretorrente district but very close to the bridge that connects you to the center of Parma, which is so small, that in the end you are close to everything and if you like to walk, then it's done! Otherwise, everything is as in the listing photos and descriptions. Very nice and quiet, I'm satisfied with my stay in Parma!

Very friendly host that showed us the ropes when we checked in. Washer / dryer was very good, unlike most washer dryer combinations where the drying does not work as well. Car was in an enclosed lot within an enclosed parking garage, very safe. 15min walk to city centre.

Great place, perfect location, super clean, and very well equipped. We had a wonderful stay, and I highly recommend it.

If you are traveling to Reggio Emilia this is a very good option where to stay.
