Great beach front location to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing time away with the family. Also love the pool that is available on the property.

Loved staying here. My favorite thing was probably all of the freshly washed linens. A lot of places I stay, I wonder if they really clean the linens after every stay, but here I was sure. There was also plenty of towels. I loved watching the deer from the big windows. The pool and hot tub were beautiful, as well as the scenery of the river and surrounding wooded area! It’s private, quiet, peaceful, and gorgeous to look at. Just a really good stay overall! And Matthew was flexible, generous, and quick to respond. Def recommend!!!

Salty Dog was responsive to any and all questions and concerns that we had even before our arrival. Place was neat and clean, and we had a great time as a family by the pool making memories. There are lots of pool toys in the garage to choose from. Highly recommended, great location, and we will be back again.

Jackie and Bill are sweet people. Their place felt like home. And the sunrise over the ocean was the best❣️ Whenever we go back that way we will be staying there again 😁

Great beach condo! Bright, clean and relaxing atmosphere. It was a little cold this weekend, but we still drove down to the beach for the sand and the waves. The pool was also too cold for us, but had a safe clean area near the condo. We will have to visit again this summer with the kids! Friendly & helpful host!

Exactly as described, peaceful surroundings, everything we were looking for. Perfect location for unplugging from daily life, and enjoying time with family. Pictures did not do it justice. Definitely recommend to anyone looking or some family time in a peaceful private environment.

We had a wonderful time at Randy's beach house. It was exactly as described and pictured. Very thoughtfully designed and decorated. It looks like a beach house you would see on HGTV. The views from the living area, kitchen, and both porches are fantastic. As far as location, it was beautiful and remote, which was perfect for unplugging and relaxing. The beach is wide, the sand is soft, and there are sea shells everywhere for the kids to collect. I really enjoyed drives on the beach in the morning or evenings, just make sure you have 4-wheel drive. There are a lot of wetlands in the area, so make sure to bring your insect repellant. All listed amenities were there, as well. Internet worked great. Randy was a great host who was always very friendly responsive, informative, and accommodating. We most certainly plan to come back. It may be more expensive than other options, but this home has the best views & accommodations. You get what you pay for in this case.

Loved spending time with family at this Airbnb. They had a pool table for games and they had a huge living room with multiple couches so we could hang out. I would definitely stay again.

Perfect quaint little coastal gem with everything you need for a great getaway. Very clean and comfortable with stylish nautical decor throughout. Host was quick to respond and very friendly and accommodating. We loved our stay and will definitely stay here again! ❤️

Great place to stay. Lots of room for hanging out inside and out. Pool table and shuffle board were great for hanging out and playing. House was extremely clean and well put together. Kitchen was stocked with all the utensils we needed. 10/10 great place to stay and great host.

Paul was very responsive to any needs we had. His home was just what we needed. Everything was well kept and the location was great. Will definitely book again in the future.

The stay was perfect! Everything was so clean. The host answered immediately . We finally found a great place to rent in Matagorda. I can’t say enough about this place. Loved the decor! Can’t wait to come back .

Our time at Heidi’s was great. It was such a comfortable space and very well stocked with all the necessities we needed during our stay. Would highly recommend this home to anyone, especially those booking an extended stay!

Great place for our family to gather for a fishing weekend! Comfy couches in the living room with a huge TV. Lots of counter space in the kitchen. Delicious selection of coffee pods provided for us! AC was wonderfully refreshing during the hottest weekend of the year. Bathrooms were big. We had a fun time driving down the road to flounder and crab. Would definitely stay again!

One of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed at. Beautiful property on the water with an outstanding spacious clean house. The back yard is fully fenced for your pups a major plus (fenced yards are hard to find on Airbnb). The property is very well kept and there are no briars in the grass. The fire pit is conveniently positioned off the enclosed back yard, near the lake. Bring fire pit tools: long poker, long log grabber, and a shovel. Fishing is exciting, there are so many fish to catch. We were merely fishing for fun, catch-and-release, so we only caught small catfish and bass. There are lights near the doc/firepit area, but we could not figure out how to turn them on, so we purchased battery powered lanterns. The house is beautiful with plenty of room. The kitchen is fully equipped. Wifi works great and there are 3 big screen TV’s downstairs. The bedrooms all have extra pillows and blankets (major plus). The owner is great and responsive.

This was the perfect house for our family with the separate bedroom/bathroom downstairs! Loved it!!

We LOVED this Airbnb! First, Summer was super friendly and responsive which was impressive since it was a last minute booking during the Christmas holidays. The house was charming, well furnished, supplied, clean and nicely decorated. It felt homey! They had little “extras” around the place that made it feel like they were thinking of the renters. The mattresses were firm, but so comfortable that we slept great. The house had so many extras like an awesome jungle gym tree house that we didn’t use, but would be fun for a family with kids. I would definitely recommend the host AND this AirBnb. Who would have thought my hometown could offer such a neat place to stay for those wanting a beach town get-away! Two thumbs up! Thank you Summer for helping us make our trip home a good one!

Great place for kids, pets and boats! We had plenty of parking, houses were pet friendly and right in the center of town. Plus the houses were spotless!

Lovely home, great dock, great porch/deck, great view of the water. Everything is nearby, extremely responsive host. Spacious home with everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!
