Galveston Island places to stay

“Sunset Stay” did not disappoint our family of four adults and two small children! While it may seem small from the front we discovered the most amazing space when we stepped inside. The owners have put so much thought into each room making the entire home a nice relaxing space no matter where you decide to stop at the end of the day and no matter your age. “Sunset Stay” provides all the amenities you need including: pool/ping pong in the garage, hot tub/putting green/bbq in the back yard and a sweet enclosed sunroom for coffee and a good book. Very close to Stewart beach and Porretto beach, Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens, shopping, groceries and restaurants like Gonzalo’s American Bistro (have dinner on their outdoor patio you won’t be disappointed). The owners of “Sunset Stay” were quick to answer any questions we had making everything so simple. Thank you! We can’t wait to visit again! (I think our 4 year old granddaughter is already making plans!)

Julie and her husband Ron made my first Airbnb experience absolutely wonderful! They were always available to assist us with anything we needed. The house was stunning and pet-friendly, featuring comfortable beds, TVs, bathrobes, and everything else we could possibly need. Very spacious! The freshly baked cookies and cut flowers were a lovely welcome gift! It was a perfect weekend. It's now the only place I want to stay whenever I visit Galveston, I hope to be able to return soon! I highly recommend!

Location location location. This place is in the perfect spot. Quiet, great view, great place. Staff was very friendly and check in couldn't be any easier. We look forward to coming back to this place. Thanks for having us!!!

We enjoyed Lance's place. It was clean and comfortable. We liked how it was walkable to the beach and restaurants. We also enjoyed just walking the neighborhood. Lance was very responsive and set out a handyman immediately when it was needed. The beds were comfy and the place was clean. I would stay there again.

Great house in a great location! Everything was very nice and clean. My girlfriend really appreciated the decor. The host’s communication was awesome, too. 5 stars!!

Our family had a great time staying here and would recommend it to anyone. Everything was spotless and there were plenty of amenities. We did not run out of anything for our stay. It was so much fun being able to spend time on both the upper deck and the doc. It was a fantastic stay and would look for this home to stay in again, as we have family in Galveston and travel often to the island.

Great place. Tammy always responded when we needed it. They had information binders of things to do which were great for those of us who had never been to Galveston. Our only negative was the dishes and tray tables were dirty and sticky. Overall, I’d stay here every time.

We loved our stay at Holly's. The location is walkable to a few restaurants and the neighborhood was quiet. We also enjoyed the location.
