Monthly Rentals in Ozark National Forest

Super cute place in the woods. Clean and roomy. Was great for a get away (just be aware it's very rural and on a gravel uphill road).

I cannot give more than five stars in the app, this place deserves every star AND MORE! John and Tracy went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and celebrate our stay for our anniversary. I cannot wait to come back. We appreciated every moment and every step we took enjoying the property, all to do, the scenery and the fresh air. This is the best stay I have had traveling EVER! Thank y’all for having us ♥️

We’ve stayed in Airbnbs around the world, and we can honestly say that the Stargazer Cabin is one of the best we’ve ever been to. For this off-the-beaten-path family of travelers, this checked all the boxes: gorgeous setting, spectacular sunsets, campfire ring, walkable to trails, peaceful and away from crowds, well-stocked and beautifully designed cabin. Bonus: great DVD and board game selection, and all the hiking guidebooks we needed (sorry, we are 100% responsible for the very thumbed-through waterfall guidebook!). On top of that, man, did Chay ever set a high bar for Airbnb hosts!! Proactive recommendations for hiking before and during our trip, tidbits of great history about the property, and even sent us home with ideas for where to stop on our roadtrip back home. We fell in love with the Ozarks, thanks to Chay and Stargazer. As our 7 year old says, “tell them we one million percent recommend it!”

BuffaloHead Cabin is located in a beautiful part of the country. I enjoyed the opportunity to unplug and get close to nature. There's nothing like sitting in front of a fire that's fueled by wood you chopped yourself. There's plenty of hiking right out the front door. It's very secluded, and there aren't many amenities - which is exactly what I wanted. It's essentially like camping, except you have four walls and a roof over your head. Bring everything that you would for camping (except the tent). Heron and How are great communicators. Directions were fantastic and they made it clear that it's a bit of a difficult drive. While BuffaloHead Cabin won't be everyone's cup of tea, I highly recommend it for anyone who loves the outdoors.
