Vacation rentals in Springfield

We booked this place for our 20th wedding anniversary and because we were looking for some peace and quiet! Rachel and Brahm’s place fit the bill with utv and hiking trails over several acres, and a gorgeous back porch and hot tub. Alas, it rained every single day we were there starting about 10 minutes in to our first utv ride lol. Such is life, and Rachel apologized so much even though obviously she can’t control the weather lol. We just checked out this morning and we’re already discussing booking again. The cabin is so secluded, homey and cozy, and even with the poor weather we were still able to enjoy the covered back deck. Even without the outdoor amenities we had our hearts set on, we still had a wonderfully relaxing stay, and we’re looking for reasons to come stay again. Thank you Rachel!

If I could give 6 stars, I would! What an incredible stay! The host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, surprising the kids with glow sticks for nighttime fun and marshmallows for s’mores around the cozy firepit. The cabin is full of rustic charm and unique touches. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchenware was very nice. We loved the pond, sitting on the rocking chairs drinking coffee in the morning, the inside swing chair is so cool, we enjoyed the board games and scenery... Our kids loved climbing the ladder to the loft, and enjoyed waking up to birds chirping and view through the giant windows overlooking the trees. It was so awesome that the host’s let us use the golf cart with kayaks to head down through the fields to the river to kayak, we saw cows, frogs, and even a blue heron. This cabin gave us a truly unique experience. It's peaceful, private, and perfect for making memories. We didn’t want to leave!

We needed a peaceful weekend away and the cabin was a great place to rest, but close enough to Springfield to visit the Botanical Gardens, Bass Pro, Lamberts, and Buckingham’s BBQ. We found a new favorite near the cabin - Amore’s Pizza!

Cozy cabin is an accurate description of the place we stayed for a few days. While I wouldn't want to arrive after dark, any difficulty has more to do with the back country roads and relatively remote setting than anything else, which for us was a plus. The cabin was as advertised, and we didn't lack for anything we needed or expected. The shower was strong and hot. The coffee provided was robust. The setting was peaceful and quiet. This would be a great place to stay for day trips through the area.

Beautiful, peaceful retreat from everyday life and a great way to spend our anniversary weekend! Loved being so close to Nixa, which had everything we needed. A nearby road flooded while we were there, and the hosts kept us updated right away! They responded quickly to any questions which was much appreciated!!

We had a great weekend! The cabin was clean and adorable! Very peaceful and scenic! They did a lot of work to get it ready for us as they had just had 11 inches of snow! We could easily get in and out and the cabin was ready and warm when we got there!! Fantastic stay!!

Michelle was a wonderful host!!! Clear, easy instructions to find the Cozy Cabin and very helpful. The cabin is very peaceful- felt like we were out in the country! We would absolutely stay here again!

We really enjoyed being able to have our dog with us since he is unable to use his back legs. The rooms were just as pictured and everything was nice and clean.

Just what we needed. Had to come to town for a course. Lovely place.

This was our 2nd stay at Alia’s place and we enjoyed it just as much as the 1st. We hope to stay there again next time we stay in Springfield!

A very cute little place nicely renovated in the city , close to a lot of things. The backyard is the plus. Thank you. So much for the accommodations , even if my dog may have killed a snake for you. lol 😆 🤣

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the tiny gallery hideout. It was very peaceful and quiet and quite cute with the artistic decorations. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stay.

Rick's place is nice. And it's quiet. At no time could I hear street noise or the occupants on the other side of the duplex. The two-car garage and two bathrooms swayed our decision to book this duplex instead of other options. Inclement weather was predicted, and it was nice to know that if it was pouring rain, we could load our things in the garage. The MyQ access makes garage access particularly convenient. And then there are the additional nice extra touches -- ice in the freezer compartment of the fridge, snacks in a bowl on the counter, plenty of towels and toilet paper, functional appliances, etc. If we are traveling again with our adult son, we'll consider this place among our top choices in Springfield.

Great location, clean, updated, and well-stocked! Didn’t love the pillows on the king but otherwise, everything was great and would stay here again.

We have stayed in Springfield a few times and this was our second stay down on C Street. This was by far the best one that we have stayed in before. The space was cozy and spacious and ideally located in the district. We loved it and will definitely try to stay there again if it's available next time we visit.

Beautiful little house just a minute off the freeway. Couldn’t ask for better!

Teresa was very kind and helpful. The house was perfect for our large family. we really appreciated the toy areas for our younger kids. there are large open spaces where we could spend time together but also smaller spaces that we could go to have some quiet time.

Place was amazing very good host. Peaceful atmosphere and very clean. Can’t wait to come back

This was a great stay. It was very comfortable and clean. The location was perfect for everything we wanted and needed to do in Springfield.

Such a wonderful home and Amy is very hardworking (keeps up the property well) and excellent communicator. We enjoyed our stay at the charming historical home. Great location and walking distance to other historical homes, as well as to downtown. We felt safe and there was always something happening in the busy neighborhood. Friendly joggers and neighbors walk their dogs under overgrown oak trees that frame beautifully quaint houses, each with its own unique characteristics. All while live music plays at a local restaurant blocks away in the distance. A memorable vacation.

First experience with an airbnb and was pleasantly surprised. Hosts were extremely kind and helpful. Home was absolutely charming. Beautiful location. Home was spotless and we had more than enough room. Outdoor covered lighted area was just perfect. Loved the extra little touches they had for us. My son graduated college and didn’t think we’d go back to the area but know that we know if a good place to stay we can go back and explore other areas nearby.
