Waterfront vacation rentals in Oregon

Randy’s place felt just like home. The backyard area to the river was well kept and a beautiful view. The bed was comfy and the living room was a great place to unwind. You do have to be able to Chromecast to the TV, but that was in the listing information. Randy has a great selection of books and we really enjoyed our stay!

This is a great place, I’ve stayed twice. Love the onsite parking, hot tub on the balcony, kitchen with everything needed. It’s very close walk to the beach, about a block away. Activity room only has a pool table and TV, would be cool to see another pool table or shuffle board added.

We stay with Therese about twice a year and have done so for years. It is close to our adult granddaughter's apartment and is a great place for our family to hang out together for meals and movies and other family activities. We love the peaceful surroundings including many big, beautiful old trees and proximity to the river. And though we have been coming for years, we still discover new things. This trip two of the new things in the neighborhood include J&R Mexican Food on McLoughlin, which has very tasty and reasonably priced Mexican food, as well as discovering Stringfield Family Park only a few blocks away on SE Naef Rd. It is also along the Trolley Trail (another good things for fitness walkers to know about in the neighborhood. Stringfield is a lovely place to have a picnic or stroll along a creek whose residents include ducks and nutria, and if you have playground age kids, they will love the fun and creative play structures! We always love staying at Therese's!

We have stayed here many times. Love it! The view of the Columbia River from your many windows is awesome. The accommodations are first class.

This is a beautiful location! Perfect for couples and families looking for a base camp to explore Astoria and the surrounding communities. 5/5 would recommend.

Our stay at the Bandon Inn Marina was amazing. My family enjoyed every minute of it and we’d definitely come back again soon. Highly recommend if you like a cozy stay with a great view.

We escaped the city to spend a birthday in the sanctuary space that this beautiful property is! We loved having the windows open to hear the constant powerful ocean, loved all of the big windows to watch storms roll in & out, and the sunset from the table inside or the perch at the edge of the yard! The bathtub was the largest we have ever seen, and even tho it took about an hour to fill, it was easy time to kill knowing how luxuriously deep and enjoyable it was! Such a cool view from the captains couch, loved taking a few naps from there with the view of the ocean all around! This space is well loved&taken care of! Loved being next door to Georgie’s for quick&delicious fill in meals that we didn’t wanna travel out for, picked up breakfast in my pajamas twice! She left such a lovely snack basket, beautiful flowers and bottle of wine and even a cute card of hers and cupcakes! What a treat!! Totally clear communication, directions, helpful notes to navigate the space! Thanks! So much joy

Beth’s place is such a great place to stay. This was our second time here for our annual girls trip and we just love it ! Very clean ! The beds are amazingly comfortable! . The kitchen is well stocked and good restaurants that are close. Also , walking distance to shopping and the beach ! You won’t be disappointed by staying here . 😊😊

Chris’s home was super comfortable with well stocked kitchen and anything you’d need for a getaway. The setting by the river is magical- we saw bald eagles and other waterfowl even in midwinter! Imagine relaxing in the hot tub after a day of snow sports with a view of the river. It’s a perfect spot to get you away from the rat race for a little while! We hope to check it out in warmer weather soon

We had an amazing stay. The home was beautiful and wonderfully taken care of. Couldn’t have asked for a better host, or a better place to stay. Amazing! We look forward to returning.

The house was perfect for our getaway. The kids enjoyed the backyard sandy area on the dune and the private dune trail was super cool, espeically for sunsets. We did think it had better beach access-didn't know the dune has a steep dropoff—but there is nearby public beach access which is easier to use. The separate entry for the downstairs was a bit tricky if you have small kids that want to bunk down there but we managed. Everyone had a great time. House was well cared for and the kitchen was stocked with many essentials and we really appreciated that they left condiments and other things in the fridge door. You don't often see that! 10/10 would book again.

The house is in a gorgeous location right on the river, with views right from the living room. Tons of amenities such as a wood stove and lots of firewood, grills and all the kitchen ware you need to cook yourself. Clean and comfortable. Kate gave us all the info we needed to have a fun and relaxing time, and was super responsive. Highly recommend this rental!

My Dad and I really enjoyed our stay at Jim’s place! It is well appointed and we really like how it’s decorated. It has an amazing view overlooking the river! We have family in the area and we travel out there often. We would love to stay here again!

Very cozy during a rainy Spring Break visit. The location is great and close enough to the dunes that we could head out and ride between the rain storms. We also enjoyed the nice TV and comfy couch for watching movies and playing video games when it was too wet outside to ride. Best of all, I got to sleep in the amazing purple velvet bed and check that item off my bucket list! I hope to bring the kids back her for a future trip to the dunes.

We loved The Whale Pod! Great views of the ocean, well-stocked kitchen and overall a comfortable place to be. Also, the walk-in closet was invaluable as an extra "bedroom" for an 11 mo-old in a pack-n-play. The club house pool was also a nice additional activity for kids to do.

An amazing stay with an amazing view! The view alone was worth it. Walking along the beach was magical. It’s a short walk to the beach and the store/ market in town as some great sandwiches, food, coffee etc. The space itself was spotless and perfect for a weekend trip. Book it! You won’t regret it.

Absolutely love staying at James's place. perfectly situated right next to the beach where are kids could run out and play anytime they wanted to without us being too far if they want to go out on their own. The condo fit our family of five just fine, though our children are still quite small, so we had two to a bed. The home was in great shape and very tastefully decorated and well-appointed. The house rules they had instituted were helpful and provided a peace of mind that the place would be kept clean both before we got there and for us to continue to keep it clean while we were there. if there is any sort of critique, it is definitely not of the apartment or the location as it relates to the beach, but the town itself doesn't have much by way of amenities. no great restaurants. no great shopping. but if all you're looking for is a great beach and a drivable grocery store about 20 miles away, this worked out perfectly for us

Lauren's condo was very clean and has a great view of the river. We were able to walk along the river to downtown to get to restaurants and go shopping. Communication with Lauren was easy.

Very cute place with the beach right there off the balcony. Bigger than it looks in the pics. It was great to lay in bed & watch the sunset listening to the ocean. People flew kites right by us (3rd floor). Super clean kitchen with a big spice collection. Fireplace worked too. Yay ambiance! Did not smell like cleaning chemicals or anything unpleasant. Mattresses were pretty firm, no saggy spots. Plenty of fluffy towels in the bath. There was a collection of small children's books in a drawer. You can't hear hwy 101 from the kitchen/living area but you can from the bedroom. City rolls up at night so it wasn't a problem. Friendly staff. Pool looked great but we didn't get a chance to use it because the weather kept us outdoors. Overall a bargain for the beachfront location. Definitely recommend!

This condo was absolutely perfect! The view straight onto the beach was breathtaking taking. The condo was conveniently located to sights and restaurants, and was sized perfectly for 2 of us. Everything was clean and we had all of the kitchen supplies we needed to cook while admiring the beautiful ocean view! Our first trip to Oregon was fantastic staying here, and we hope to be back!
