Cannot say enough about how spectacular Theresa's stone cottage is! The attention to detail, design, and whimsy is off the charts. Her descriptions and directions are accurate and complete (don't believe auto directions from phone or car if they're different). Location is woodsy, gorgeous, and natural - a truly lovely place to be. Additional destinations (restaurants and other points of interest) are drivable not walkable. The queen bed is set crosswise in the alcove, which put my husband off at first, but worked out fine for us. I very much hope to return!!

Pros: House accommodated 14 of us, no problem at all. The master bath was amazing to relax in! Plenty of towels. Couches are incredibly comfortable. Nice big 3 car garage to use. Cons: Road traffic heard from the master bed. Parking is tricky if you’re at capacity of 14 people, but doable. Even with the cons we would stay again! Just wanted to let others know what to expect before booking.

This place was everything we asked for with a great price. If you want a clean place to stay with the peaceful sounds of the ocean and smell of bonfires on the beach, this is a top pick. Parking was a struggle because other visitors take up more than one space, but once we were in, it was worth it. Easy check-in, beautiful views, and all the amenities you could possibly need for a quiet stay at the beach.

We ended up at this place when we never got a check in code for our other rental and couldn't get in/couldn't get a hold of that host. I appreciated how quickly Erik replied to my message when I was frantically trying to find somewhere else that was available to stay on short notice and check in was super easy. Very clean, enjoyable place to stay. The kids really loved the toy closet. Would stay again.

This Airbnb was a great find. Very spacious and modern apartment that was still nice and cozy with the touches Charles had in it like the corner (electric) fireplace and super soft throws. Kitchen had all the amenities and then some so if you wanted to eat in, you could. I found the location great. It was driving distance to a lot and close to the Expo center which was my main purpose for coming to Portland. Charles had some great recommendations for food options when I did have some free time to explore.

Don’s cottage in Bend had it all. The location was perfect—just a short distance from downtown, but it felt like a peaceful retreat. The location is private and serene with a fair amount of wildlife — squirrels digging for nuts, birds chirping and even white-tailed deer munching on the lawn right in the backyard. The trail behind the cottage that winds along the Deschutes River was a gorgeous bonus. The cottage itself felt like home—cozy, welcoming, and stocked with everything one could possibly need. Don was a fantastic host, and would happily stay here again.

Interesting stay. We were there during a spring storm with lots of wind so the kids were scared of giant trees. Place is funky 70s and we like that but has a real rustic cabin feel. Kitchen not great for cooking, but we ate out in Portland as planned. Near the Portland Bird Alliance. Fun! I slept amazing, husband found bed soft. Gas fireplace was heat. Drop screen ideal for family viewing. I read two books there. Definitely a good stay to be near Portland but not really in it, like a cabin vacay near a city.

Lisa’s home was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and the extra amenities were really lovely. The sauna was such a unique and fun thing to have access to. The EV charger at no additional cost was right outside the door was also really convenient. Lisa was accommodating to our travel plans and communicative as needed. We will definitely be back next time we’re visiting.
