Steve and Bev’s cottage bordering hazelnut orchards is a delightful restful place to feel at home. They are friendly and communicative, and their cottage is great. The area is pretty interesting agriculturally and with the trains. I got to see snow, rain and sunshine during my stay, their property and the cottage are cozy and beautiful through all the weather. Great spot to get away and relax. All the amenities are great (wifi works well, I did some remote work and that was super convenient).

Julie’s listing was the perfect set up for my boyfriend and i! we had two large dogs along for the ride to see family in Sandy, Julie was quick and thoughtful in her answers of my clarifying questions before booking so we could align with her pet policy! getting to the property was highlighted well in her listing instructions. the space itself was beautiful and very clean. we utilized the fire pit outside and seeing the many animals was a treat!! highly recommend this space if you want to be close to the city and yet out of the way in the woods!

Came to stay for a new years get away. it was so peaceful and just what we needed for a relaxing time together. the GPS tried to make us turn after the driveway so we had to turn around but it was fairly easy to find. the beds were very comfortable and had all the cooking utensils we needed for a few day stay. such a beautiful property

We had a lovely visit. The surrounding area is beautiful and the nearby hills were green with sporadic flowering trees. So quiet. The house was a wonderful size with all the amenities and more. Games and puzzle and records to play and even a guitar. We enjoyed a fire in the evening and making meals. Bathroom is spacious and warm. Every wall had windows and something new to look at. It was a charming getaway.

Stayed the weekend for a wedding. Gorgeous property and house, very clean. Comfortable private suite on second level of the house. Christy is friendly, responsive, and accommodating. Everything you would want in a host. Hope to stay there again!

A perfect little getaway! This tiny house under the oaks was cozy, charming, and had everything I needed for a peaceful retreat. The country setting was beautiful, with daffodils blooming and owls calling at night. The birdlife was incredible and a joy to wake up to. The space was thoughtfully designed, making it both functional and inviting. The hosts are kind, proactive, helpful and communicative. If you're looking for a quiet escape surrounded by nature, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommend!

Absolute heaven. If you wish for a forest getaway without the roughing it, this place has everything you need to escape into peaceful comfort. Loacation was terrific -- between 30min and an hour to delightful spots on the coast.

Cute little side house with a beautiful view of the mountains. The place was decorated super cute and has everything you need. It’s a dirt road with some good sized bumps so just be careful and go slow.

We have stayed here three times in the last thirteen months and will keep coming back. It's quiet, private, comfortable and the setting is beautiful. Charlotte and her husband, Val, are welcoming and helpful. It is a convenient location for exploring the surrounding area with plenty to see and do.

That was so nice! The place is very cozy and homey, and Ed and Jacquie have nailed all the little extras spot on. When I stepped inside my first thought was, “Oh, I could live here!” We were greeted warmly given a short tour and explanation of the hot tub and the little ins and outs of the place, then left to our own quiet privacy. Baked goodies were there waiting for us and fresh flowers—the attention to detail was spot on! This spot is just far enough out of town to feel like getting away, yet was close enough to be easy to access all the necessities. Also, the hot tub was wonderful, private, and very easy to use and to get in and out of. I will recommend this stay to anyone who wants the peace and beauty of a cottage get away. We will definitely be back when we can get there!!

This was our second stay at Steven's Scholls Valley Retreat and it was just as wonderful as the first time, a few months ago. Actually better, because we did feel like we were coming home! The living space is so spacious; the views of the beautiful countryside from every window are peaceful; and the warm, earth tone colors of the furnishings all make this place a comfortable and pleasant place to spend a week. And, a delightful bonus was that all of Steven's Christmas lights were still up when we arrived! In addition, Steven is a wonderful, friendly & responsive host who we always enjoy talking with!

We enjoyed our stay at the farm. I wish the weather would've been better to be able to visit the animals on the farm. We ordered the breakfast kit. The 6 fresh eggs, which we scrambled, and warm biscuits with jam were great. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. We would definitely book again.

This place was fantastic! I have traveled to a few airbnbs visiting my lover in Eugene and this place was by far our favorite! Located above the garage on a beautiful property, the space was big and clean. The pantry was stocked and we even were provided farm fresh eggs! The bathroom was fully stocked as well, with towels available for the hot tub. The tub was definitely a highlight! She was incredibly responsive and even warned us of a potential internet outage. We missed her cute puppy, but will definitely be returning again!
