The house was very comfortable with plenty of room. The screened porch with ice maker and fish cleaning station far exceeded our expectations. This is the perfect place to stay for a few buddies on a fishing trip. Al also gave us a local tip on a fishing area he had been at the previous day that worked out very well for us. We will be staying here again on our next trip to the area.

Perfect location directly on the Rainbow River. Enjoying coffee in the morning on the deck directly over the river is wonderful. JoAyne and John are great hosts. Kayaks are available to explore the beautiful river with crystal clear water. Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Palm Waters River House! We had 7 kids and 3 adults for our stay. Our kids ranged from 11 to 2 months. The screened in porches made for a great place for the toddlers while the big kids enjoyed the kayaks and rope swing. It was the perfect getaway for our families!

Lauren was quick to respond to any questions that I had! She was very proactive, making sure that I was set up with a campsite, and everything was communicated timely to help us get into the camper. My husband and I love nature so this was absolutely the perfect fit for us. It is magical. Waking up for the sunrise and seeing all the birds/alligators/ beautiful views. This house is also the perfect location- right next to rainbow springs, crystal river, silver springs- where you can rent kayaks and see the beautiful water and manatees! Matt provides kayaks at his house as well which we took advantage of. When we weren’t out, we loved using the amenities of the house- hot tub, grill, dart board. The kitchen has everything you need to cook at the house. Matt was also very responsive and gave us great advice on where to eat, where to hike, and what to do. We would come back!

This was the perfect overnight location after visiting cousins in Trenton. It is located in a very quiet, easy to find RV resort. The RV was clean and the perfect size for the 2 of us and our small dog. It had everything we needed for a one-night stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, the kitchen was well organized and what a nice feature to have a fireplace! The Wi-Fi was very unpredictable but we were able to watch some local channels. We were impressed with the area although we did not venture out once we got to the RV for the night. Tim is a great host and we would highly recommend!

Otter Springs is truly one of a kind! The house is immaculate and has many essentials to help make your stay even better. Everything is clean and the hosts were so friendly and helpful. The outside is incredibly beautiful, private and spacious. The dock has newly updated stairs leading to the river making it easy to get in and out of kayaks & paddle boards. Nature is of abundance here as you can see several species of birds hunting for fish. We saw deer in the neighborhood. One of our highlights of the trip was being able to paddle with a family of otters for days as they played. It was magical! The kids loved having their own space in the separate house. We all spent all day on the water exploring upstream the cypress forests. It’s so peaceful to allow the river to float you back down stream to the house. You don’t even have to paddle! The water is crystal clear and refreshing. This house is a hidden gem and we absolutely cannot wait to book again!

We had a lovely stay. The three houses fit our large family with my kids and grandkids. The treehouse bathroom was a huge hit with the outdoor shower and cool tub. We had an otter up on the dock two mornings and it was very nice and peaceful. We met with family over at Rainbow River and it only took 20 minutes to get there. Overall it was a truly wonderful trip. Jacqueline was very responsive and friendly and did her best to accommodate all of our requests. I would definitely stay there again.

Area is very rural so not much selection on restaurants. We are gator alumni so didn’t mind the trek to Gainesville to enjoy a variety restaurant options. Nice clean space for our quick weekend getaway. Bhishma provided clear instructions to help us arrive. We kept in touch letting him know we would be late arriving. He made sure the lights were on and the outside was nicely lit to provide Easy access to get in. Tidy and lovely space to relax, comfy beds made for a great night sleep. We drove through the small towns, enjoyed our time roaming through the quaint antique shops then to Gainesville for a little shopping and supper. Thanks Bhishma for a wonderful place to stay.

We loved staying here! It was the perfect location to be close to downtown High Springs and is a straight shot to all of the springs (Poe, Gilchrist and Ginnie) we wanted to visit. Being right on the river was so relaxing, and we had so much fun playing ping pong, cornhole and darts with our teenagers. We built a fire with wood purchased right off the main road and made s'mores too. The house was very well-appointed and we appreciated having plenty of towels, kitchen items (including spices and other essentials we usually have to bring or buy). The beds were comfortable and the a/c worked great, which I always appreciate. Will absolutely stay again!

Great house, responsive & kind host, clean & well stocked. Our stay here was terrific! The house & pool looked exactly like the photos. The house was comfortable, spacious, clean & was stocked with plenty of towels & kitchen supplies. There were pool activities & plenty of seating outside, including 2 tables with umbrellas. My family looks forward to staying here again.

Close enough to everything but far enough away from the hustle and bustle.. The room provides everything you need and more with a very nice washer and dryer to help wash your clothes if you happen to get caught in a rain storm.. Kitchen was enough for us to prep our tomato and crab sandwiches.. TV was spot on being mounted to a swivel mount allowing us to whirl that thing around like a water spout so we could watch TV in bed.. And the fact that the island’s lumber yard is right beside here was the icing on the cake..

Slow Tides on the Suwannee - kayaks, games, & fun!

Beautiful home, with great back porch for viewing the canal to the Suwannee River. It was a great landing place for exploring all the various Springs and State parks in the area. The springs were beautiful this time of year and had manatees, alligators, jumping fish. There is a decent 32 mile bike trail that follows the old railroad. We couldn't find bikes to rent, so we purchased a couple from Walmart and then donated them to a church in the area to find a new home for them. We weren't there for fishing, but it would be a great spot to land a boat and head out to the river which is only 3-4 houses down the canal. There is an awesome bar & grill on the water on the river which you can walk to. Highway is close by for easy access to town, grocery stores, etc. Thanks so much for a lovely stay in your home. Paula is a great hostes. She was extra attentive and always responded quick to all messages. She was always ready to provide any extra things as needed, like additional towels or pillows. This is a beautiful and comfortable house. Very clean and with lots of space. Conveniently located. We will be back, for our next trip to Ocala!
