Lake house vacation rentals in Ohio

Beautiful views of the lake, quiet and peaceful! We enjoyed the game table, the comfortable beds and cooking in the kitchen! Karie was very responsive to attending to all of our needs!

Delightful. Just like the pictures, place was small but completely suitable, spotlessly clean, and very pleasant to be in. The highlight is the wonderful back porch, with a weber grill, hot tub, and a view that tops it off. The review recommendations about bringing drinking water were helpful. We had a great visit and hope to return sometime.

We had an excellent Labor Day weekend. The cottage met our needs and kept us comfortable while we boated, swam, ate, and participated in the Indian Lake Ring of Fire festivities (with LED “torches”). Thanks Kent for the hospitality, and thank your brother for the quick and friendly communication!

Visiting family in the area and needed a place to sleep but didn’t spend much time there. Nice, quiet place. Well light. Third time to stay at a property of Michael’s. He is quick to respond to questions. Clean and comfortable furniture. Well maintained. We will stay again at a property he owns if available.

Stayed at Kari’s place for the weekend and had a wonderful time with my family. I definitely would book with her again! She was very proactive with instructions and flexible with check in/out times. The house was super clean and the view from the back porch was beautiful! We also had great weather and were able to use the kayaks that were available. Made some great memories.

Rebecca’s home and property is the perfect place to get away and relax. This is our second visit and we really enjoyed it.

Booked Bill’s beautiful home and property for my in-laws and their 4 dogs over Christmas specifically because it was so dog-friendly and near my mom’s house in Burton. Bill was an incredible host making sure everyone had everything they needed and even joined us and cooked dinner for my mother-in-laws birthday! This will certainly be the spot for them any time they visit in the future! Thanks again to Bill and his sweet labs Bella and Grace!

We had an excellent stay in many ways! Everything was clean and good! Nice house! Excellent bedrooms, good location, the host communicates very well and quickly through the app…. In summary… nothing to complain and everything to be thankful for!

Branson place was very nice and spacious for my family. He is a very responsive and ready to accommodate if there are any issues. We will be back again when we visit Sandusky.

Great place to stay for hunters, close to lots of public land. Nice warm and comfortable place to come home to.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gull Cottage. The view was amazing and the home was very clean, well stocked, comfortable, and orderly. There was plenty of space for our group of six adults. Bill was great to deal with and a very responsive host. We will definitely rent this home again during a visit to the Cleveland Lake County area.

My family and I stayed here for a weekend and had the most relaxing experience. Waking up to the sunrise over the lake was so beautiful. The house has so much to enjoy as well. Our kids loved the theater room and the whole family enjoyed playing the games in the garage. The house was so spacious and is great for a little getaway! Bert was also a wonderful host and very responsive. We would stay here again in the future!

This was the perfect place for our group of 7! Plenty of space and extremely welcoming and comfortable. Within walking distance to many local businesses and had a peaceful and private backyard area. Highly recommend!

Visiting this house for the holidays was perfect for me. I was able to come from out of town and spend time with my family. There was so much space for activities. The views out the windows were so beautiful with snow on the ground. We were a close drive to grocery stores, gas stations, and events all over Mahoning County. The only thing I would have asked for that was not a big deal, was salt for the driveway while it was snowing. I would love to rent this house in the spring and be able to take the kayaks out on the pond.

We stayed with 7 adults and 2 toddlers and a baby. The home was set up prefect for the kids to play and be seen while allowing us to play card games or cook and still feel like we could see everyone. The beds were very comfortable and there were lots options for sleeping arrangements. We especially enjoyed hanging out in the downstairs living area with the fireplace. It was the prefect backdrop to open gifts and hangout. We will definitely be staying again.

Jamie's place was a nice getaway. About an hour from Columbus, 2 from Cincinnati. Everything in the home is really well appointed. They thought of a lot of extra details....like more than enough power outlets in every bedroom, dimmable lighting, every type of coffee maker imaginable, plenty of towels. Layout, decoration, and "vibe" of the lake house was very chill and relaxed. The mattresses were extremely comfortable. I need to ask Jamie the brand. We still enjoyed the area even though it was a crisp Fall weekend. We enjoyed walks around the lake and taking our pup to the dog park by Old Field Beach. Loved brunch at LuLu's, ice cream at Honey Bee's, and a mexican feast at La Playa Azul. Kitchen was stocked, even though we didn't want to cook on this trip. Would love to return in the Summer to be able to play on the water!

We loved this house. A ton of room, the beds were comfortable. The outdoor area was beautiful . Right across the street from Spend A Day Marina/Boat Rental. Walking Distance to Gathering Grounds Coffee. The location is fabulous. easy to access The Host was very friendly and easy to communicate with the whole time. We will definitely stay again

We had a great weekend stay! I only wish the weather had cooperated so we could sit out back with a fire. We had just enough space for 3 adults and baby with a pack n play so it worked out perfectly! Thank you!

My 10 month old grandson is in Akron Children's Hospital and being able to get all of the family together within 30 minutes of the hospital was wonderful. The house was perfect for our traveling Thanksgiving meal with plenty of seating around the 2 tables. The kitchen was very well stocked and the bunk bed area was good for all of our grandchildren. Thank you Andrew for making a difficult situation more like a normal holiday.
