Absolutely peace parades. Away from the hustle and bulse of city life. Beautiful, swimmable, fishable large pond with a few paddle boats and row boat plus life jackets for adults and children. Nice, Full Length covered front porch with swing and rocking chairs for relaxation while watching the Humming Birds feed from the feeders. They have thought of everything. Inside nice and clean and they even provide Wi-Fi access as well as a laptop for your use. All the cooking gadgets, utensils and cookware needed for anyone working the kitchen plus cooking items like Fish Fry powder, flour, condiments for just about anything 2 coffee makers (single cup Kureg and 12 cup drip both with either Kureg coffee cups or regular ground coffee and filters.) There is just Sooo much that can be said and Rodger N mary went Above and Beyond what you'd experience in most any place you can think of. I forgot to mention the FARM FRESH EGGS they provide. 5 STARS - BIG 3 THUMBS UP. We'll be back!!!

Great place to stay! It snowed leading up to our stay and they shoveled the drive way and salted the path which was really considerate. Even gave us sledding suggestions when asked. They were very nice, accommodating and quick to respond. And the home was lovely and cozy. Great place for larger groups. Lots of places to sleep and eat and games around the house. Would definitely stay again!

Our family had a wonderful time at Davis Ranch. We came during Thanksgiving and the property was spectacular. The playground was a huge with hit with our kids. With the property being dog friendly it made our Thanksgiving trip to see family that much more enjoyable.

Second stay here and the place is better than the first time! The home is beautiful and we loved the radiator heat. (no radiators in SE NC). Tug meets you, gives you a tour and helps you settle in. Then he's super helpful if you have any questions. We really appreciate having such a lovely place to stay when we visit our mother. Thanks Tug!

We were able to get in a few hours early, place was clean and ready for us. We enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit, and fishing outback. It wasn’t far to Port Clinton or Sandusky. We had a good relaxing time

Kelley was so kind and understanding. We were traveling with young kids and she definitely took that into consideration with her communication. Highly recommend this cute little place. Thank you again for everything!

This home was perfect for our girls’ getaway. There were 6 in our party and we could not get over how roomy it was. The pictures were very accurate. The home was clean and each room was filled with character. We loved having our own space to have a fire. We are already looking to book this property for the next get away :)

What a beautiful cabin in the woods directly on the river. Home was clean and cozy, plenty or supplies in case anything was forgotten. Beautiful view from the windows. Everything was perfect.

Our family of four had a wonderful time at Marcy’s place on the lake!! The house is charming and well-equipped. Paddling on the lake and fishing was fun and relaxing. It’s a very private space, but nearby to downtown for convenience. Marcy stopped to say hello while we were outside to ensure we were doing well and had what we needed. We appreciated the availability of coffee and granola bars and extras, as well as the bathroom supplies. Wonderful stay - would absolutely recommend!!

This is our second time staying and it will not be our last!! We stayed here this weekend for my wedding and Robert was just absolutely wonderful!

Jodi was a perfect host! Everything was exactly what she said it would be. Beautifully decorated, very comfortable and so relaxing sitting on the deck overlooking the lake. We had a lovely time - the area is still recovering from a tornado but Tani made sure we knew before booking and provided great info for the area and for her home. Spacious, I had a great desk to work from with a nice view of water, ducks and boats. She had everything you could want available.

One of the highlights was how dog-friendly the property was. Our furry family member had the best time exploring the spacious yard. It’s not always easy to find accommodations that genuinely cater to pets, but this cottage went above and beyond. The quiet, peaceful surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for family bonding, were unforgettable. We are so grateful for this beautiful place and can’t wait to return for another stay. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend couples get-away and it did not disappoint. This is the perfect place if you’re wanting somewhere quiet, private and intimate. From watching the sunset on their gorgeous deck to cuddling by the fire place, this was an unforgettable place and experience of serenity.

My fiancé, his brother, and I all wanted a little get away and this cabin was absolutely perfect!!! We even got to bring our furry friend!! This property is dog friendly and has lots of space for them to lounge and get their energy out. It is a stunning property and I will definitely be coming back in the future!!

We had such a wonderful stay at the Red Door Lake House! The place was so beautiful and cozy and offered so many amenities with the hot tub, games, fire pit, lake/kayaks, and more. We can't wait to return for another visit!

The cottage was perfect! It had everything we needed. It was very clean and had all the amenities as stated. The WiFi went out and Jenny had it fixed in no time. Although it was cold during the time we went, we scheduled another visit for the summer to experience more outdoor time. Looking forward to it. The home was beautiful and looked even better than in the pictures. We came for Christmas and I couldn't have imagined a better place to celebrate Christmas with family. The house was beautifully decorated everywhere you looked. They had great amenities, showed us around the place when we arrived, and made it clear that they were available if we had any issues (of which we had no issues). One of the most unique parts of our stay was that there was a scavenger hunt for us to do as a group that they put together for us which was incredibly fun and led to a wonderful prize at the end. Would absolutely stay here again in the future.
