Beachfront vacation rentals in Oceanside

This was our first stay on the southern California coast and high up on cliffs overlooking the ocean - and it was all that we hoped for. The photos are excellent, providing a fine indication of the home and surroundings. The furniture was comfortable, both interior and exterior, and the king bed, pillows and sheets in the primary bedroom were delightful. As the photos show you are not literally on the beach but over it. The sunsets (we stayed in January) were divine. We spent much time gazing at the sublime views of the endless ocean. It is a long walk or rather climb down to the beach, at about 100 or so steps once you get to the access stairs, but it was great exercise climbing up. During low tide the beach was walkable and fun, but during high tide you would have to walk on a stone beach. The neighborhood was interesting to walk and the pickleball courts in great condition. The location is very convenient. Thanks to Stephanie our host for great communication and support.

Love staying here with my kids. They enjoy the beach and pool. I enjoy surfing! The bed and pull out sofa are very comfortable. I personally appreciate tons of hooks to hang up wet stuff. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Our second stay here and we will certainly be back. It’s a great place and we felt right at home! Location cannot be beat - near the beach and the village.

Great stay! Condo was perfect for our family. Layout of the condo was great for family time and felt very spacious. Stephanie was a wonderful host and provided lots of information on things to do, restaurants, grocery stores,etc. Condo was stocked with linens, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, paper towels, pods for washing clothes and for the dishwasher, coffee pods, tea bags, spices, etc. The heated pool and hot tub were great and the beach was not crowded and very convenient to the condo. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to going back. Thank you, Stephanie!

My family and I are absolutely thrilled about our stay at Andy’s! The view from the unit was stunning, super easy beach access, lots of amenities on site. Many places within walking distance. The provided binder was extremely helpful with information about the property as well as recommendations. The unit itself was beautiful, there were games, the kitchen had everything we needed. The bed in the master was very comfortable. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would absolutely stay again.

Hard to find the HOA office upon first visit, but once you check in with security it was very easy. Great location, nice unit for an older complex, and prime area extremely close to the beach. Key pick up and drop off was simple, however the parking for this specific unit is very very tight. Thankfully our rental car was small, but it was between a support column and the wall. We loved that that they had chairs, beach equipment and towels available. We had a great stay and would recommend this unit for your stay in Oceanside. Conveniently located to Legoland (15 mins w/ traffic) and very close to some very excellent restaurants.

Abraham was a great host. Excellent communication. The place was wonderful and just steps to the beach. We would definitely stay there again. We were told the place came with multiple boogie boards, there was only one there when we arrived. I messaged Abraham to let him know and within a couple hours he had delivered 2 more boogie boards for us. Very proactive and excellent! The resort area pools/hot tubs and other amenities were very nice also.

The house was the perfect size for our group (two adults, two teens). The backyard was lush with mature plants, which made it feel very private, and the pool was bigger than we expected it to be. The house itself was clean, well stocked, and the beds were comfortable. The house was a quick drive from everywhere we went in Oceanside. The bathroom off the primary bedroom was a bit small, but manageable. Katie was a great host and I would stay here again!

This is a very spacious, tastefully appointed condo in a nice oceanfront complex. The kids spent hours in the heated pool and the beach accessories (chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, coolers, towels, etc) made days at the beach a breeze!

Location, location, location. We were thrilled to be so close to the beach. We timed it, and it was less than 3 minutes from door to sand. And Pacific Beach is a really great place to be. From inside the apartment we could see the ocean! And with the sliding glass door opened, we could *hear* the ocean! Wonderful! Other great things about this apartment: the beds are comfortable, the showers have good water pressure, the underground parking spot is very convenient, a grocery story is within walking distance, the kitchen is functional, and the carpets are clean and look new. We are already planning our next trip to Pacific Beach and will do our best to book Gurbani's apartment.

Gemma's place was incredible! Close to everything you could ask for in PB. Gemma was a wonderful host! Very accessible and willing to do anything to make your stay a great one. We even had a slight WIFI issue and she personally came over and resolved it quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Also the hot tub and golf cart were a blast!

This place was HEAVEN!! We fell in love with the place. The place was spotless and looked exactly like the photos. A 15 min walk to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the view from the couch every morning and the view from the lifeguard chairs in the evening. The Airbnb hosts were helpful and responsive. This place felt like home and can not wait to book again! Thank you!

Our stay was fantastic! We had a great time and really enjoyed the ocean views, hot tub, and the family-friendly space. It was such a nice touch that they provided so many beach essentials — sand toys, a wagon, towels, and beach chairs — which made our beach days so much easier. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. We hope to come back in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house! It was exactly what we expected—clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited for quality family time. The location was great, and the home had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable beach retreat.

We loved the condo - the view was amazing! It has a large living area and super comfortable couch. The large ocean front bedroom was great - we listened to the waves all night. First time to Solana Beach - liked being able to walk to restaurants (Rustic Root), farmers market, and the dog beach. The kitchen had everything we needed. Richard called us to make sure we were able to get in. The condo has electric mobile heaters - it was a bit cold/rainy for a few days, but we were able to get the area warm. We would come back!

The Bee Hive was so cute. We had so much fun. We love Encinitas. We parked our full-size suv in the designated parking spot and didn’t use it the whole time we were there. We walked to the beach, we walked to get coffee in the mornings, we walked to shops and we even did d 2 different escape roomed on 2 different days. We can’t wait to go back!

Stunning and beautifully appointed beach home in walkable La Jolla location. Truly walk to beach and coffee shops and restaurants. Maria is one of the most proactive and responsive hosts we’ve ever had. Very clear communications, instructions, and recommendations. Exactly as advertised. We would love to stay here again.

Came here for our family Spring Break get away! We all had a wonderful time! The view is way better in person and the waves crashing at night meant a peaceful nights sleep! Highly recommend for families or group getaways! Fully stocked kitchen was an added bonus!

Very responsive and easy to contact. Especially with the owner's onsite assistant. If you love the ocean this if for you! With the door open you can hear the soothing sound of waves throughout the unit. The view through the sliding door is nothing but ocean as far as the eye can see. Sunsets galore. With the windows closed it is peaceful and quiet. The beach was clean and family friendly. I recommend this unit. I also recommend the Brigantine restaurant just a couple blocks away.

Edmund’s place is stunning! The views are incredible and he is a great host. Very responsive to any questions we had and extremely helpful!

Where to begin? The Pelican is a very special place, nestled in the perfect location to take in the ocean - whether from the expansive windows and open floor plan space, the multiple furnished patios, or directly above or on the beach across the street! The space is pristine, well appointed, and free of clutter. We had some rain during our stay and we barely noticed it due to enjoying being inside the well styled and comfortable home. You can walk right into Carlsbad village for eats and drinks or some quirky shops, and are a quick drive from all the charming places Carlsbad & Oceanside have to offer. The hosts were incredible to work with, especially the property manager, Nancy, who took amazing care of our family - from proactively managing potential issues with some neighboring construction, to answering all our questions promptly. She was the most professional and empathetic host we’ve encountered in our various adventures with AirBnB!

We loved this spot! Great location, wonderful accommodations. Paul was a very responsive host with great recommendations. Underground parking was great, super easy access to lots of fun adventures. We will definitely be back!
