Pacific Beach beach vacation rentals

We had a wonderful stay, Colette was a gracious host with a beautiful home. The beach house had everything we could need to feel right at home and was in a perfect neighborhood for walking to great breakfast spots, to the beach, and to many fun restaurants and activities. We loved the local recommendations she shared as well! It was family friendly for our two young daughters and in the best neighborhood. We would definitely book a return stay!

She’s very responsive and thoughtful! I was welcomed with chocolates and a bottle of wine. The view on the drive to get to the location is gorgeous!

Great place to stay in La Jolla. Super close to the main strip of restaurants and small shops. Short walk to the beach. Has all the essentials you’ll need for a great beach day. Beds are comfortable and very clean. You will have everything you need, plus a prime location - highly recommended!

This is such a gem! Wonderful bungalow on the La Jolla hillside. Coffee on a deck while looking at the cannot be beat. It was amazing. Loved the space for our family. Easy walk down into town if you are able to walk back up the hill. I love La Jolla and this was the best spot to access all that San Diego has to offer while still being tucked into this beautiful house in this perfect town.

I had a great stay at Rosemarie’s place. I loved the options to be indoors or outdoors! The bed was super comfortable and Rosemarie was a wonderful host. I had a car on this trip and everything I needed and much more was close by.

Great lil studio. Perfect for a couple. Attached to Brewery! A pro and a con all in one. House is only separated from brewery with a privacy fence. One side is dumpsters, one side is kitchen or back of house. So not pretty but wasn't a deal breaker for us. Be sure to look up Mike Hess Brewing Imperial Beach and be aware of their hrs. For our stay we weren't in bed before 11 and were up and moving by 8, so no issues.

Really enjoyed spending Christmas with family in Mary’s home. She is a very detailed host. Lots of extra Christmas touches like plates of goodies, hot chocolate and coffee bar to make it feel homey. Floors and bathrooms were squeaky clean. Thanks a lot from The Giesbrecht’s & Baerg’s

We were super happy with the location of the home! Very walkable, loved that we were steps from both the bay and the ocean! Lower patio and rooftop were our favorite places to take in the evenings! Water toys were abundant and we enjoyed using the kayaks out in the bay. It was a little difficult to control the temperature in the home, but nothing that would deter us from returning. That may have been an "us" problem, too. Only other "quirk" I would mention is that you have to walk through a bathroom to get to the 2nd bedroom. Again, not that big of a deal, especially when traveling with kids. Overall, the house was perfect for our family of 3. Nick was very responsive when I reached out. Neighbors were friendly. Great recommendations for places to eat. Highly suggest Kono's! We all said we would definitely stay here again on a return trip! Thank you, Nick for such a great stay!!

Best location just a few minutes walk to the beach and the bay. Very short drive away from activities; Belmont Park, sea world, San Diego zoo. So much delicious food in the area. The place is small but good size for just me and my husband. There was a bit of mold in the bathroom and some areas could’ve been cleaned a bit better but overall it was definitely worth the price and we had a very fun and memorable trip here. Would recommend staying here for a mission beach vacation.

Randy’s place was fantastic. It was as described and depicted in photos. Randy was a great host. He was very accommodating and accessible. The place was comfortable and clean. The living space/kitchen/dining area was great for our group of 6 adults. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable and quiet. The location was amazing. One small block to the beach. The grocery store and coffee/bars are so close. We used the bikes, Prokadima and beach chairs. Such a great place for the price. Thank you Randy for sharing your place with us!

This home exceeded all my expectations! Everything was perfect for a group - from plentiful towels and outlets, lots of seating, VERY clean and super cozy! - This house is so beautifully decorated, and the backyard is amazing! Just the perfect place to be with family and friends. Sebastien provided very detailed and clear instructions, was very responsive and friendly. I will definitely come back for my future family stays!

Title: Great Value, but be Prepared for Noise I recently stayed at this Airbnb and had an overall positive experience. The location was fantastic—easy to find, and it was conveniently close to local attractions and restaurants. The host was responsive and friendly, making the check-in process smooth. The space itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Considering the price compared to other options in the area, I felt it was a great value. However, one thing to note is that the property is in the flight path for San Diego airport. While this wasn’t an issue once I fell asleep, the noise from the planes, neighbors, and outdoor sounds made it a bit challenging to get to sleep on the first few nights. The walls seemed a bit thin, so I could hear quite a bit of outside noise. Overall, I'd recommend staying here, but be prepared for the noise—especially if you're a light sleeper. Jeff’s place was in a great location in the middle of San Diego. The place was immaculate. He obviously is serious about the upkeep of his property and the happiness of his guests. I contacted him that we would be arriving pretty late on our first night so he made sure to leave the light on for us. Entry was always easy with the electronic locking system. Water pressure in the showers was awesome and we wanted for nothing. Thanks Jeff!
