Will Definitely Stay Again on Next Trip! What an amazing stay right at a working marina where you have water views on 2 sides and can enjoy watching the inner workings of the life on the many lobster boats leaving every morning and returning at evening. The location was perfect for great restaurants, local shopping, and as a home base for all the hiking destinations. Arcadia Sailing is right there also; our sunset sail was picture perfect. The AirBnB was everything we had read about and hoped for. Parking was great, access convenient, the views of the harbor amazing. As met as a family from NC, TX and OH to cheer my daughter on in the MDI half-marathon. The living area was warm and comfortable, the kitchen well appointed, the bedrooms roomy with great beds and bathroom access. Everything was clean and tidy. Having a washer and dryer was a nice amenity. Molly was available to answer questions and make recommendations. The only negative was that our collective stay was too short!

What a cute little bungalow. A one room wonder. Milk House was easy to get to and had a couple walks to ocean views. Right on the main road but very quiet. We were prepared for the limited kitchen & were able to make 3 fabulous dinners. Get ready to unwind & unplug.

This was a beautiful apartment to stay in, the view to the Union river, and evergreen trees was absolutely gorgeous. The apartment was clean and well designed and had lots of space. A short walk to Josie‘s country store & Café every morning for breakfast was perfect. A quick drive into downtown Ellsworth, where there are lots of restaurants, shops and pubs, then a bit further to Acadia national park, roughly a half hour drive, in April. We loved hiking in Acadia on Bar Harbor Island. What a great visit to Maine!

We enjoyed our stay at the Duck Cove Apartment. The Apartment was warm and comfortable and the location was peaceful and picturesque. It was a good base for our hikes at Acadia National Park. Nancy welcomed us when we arrived and was a responsive and friendly host. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises and moonlight on the water from the living room. It was a nice place to stay!

We stayed with our 2 dogs for a little over a week and we had the best time! The cleanliness of the place was absolutely impeccable, the house was spacious and had everything we needed. Lots of restaurants/coffee shops nearby and the short drive to Acadia national park and Bar Harbor was super convenient. We’d absolutely come back and would recommend Dereks place to everyone.

Quiet and serene. We visited with 3 kids and our dog. We spend spring break here and being early in the season most stores and restaurants were jot yet open. We managed amd had good quality family time. Loved the area which had ample Preserves to go on one or two walks each day. The house was clean and had ample supplies from towesl to kitchenware. Highly recommend this spot. Thank you!

Tim’s place was perfect and as described! Great amount of space for 2 people with a great location and clean apartment right outside of Acadia! Tim gave us a wonderful list of suggestions around Bar and Southwest Harbor that kept us busy. Highly recommend this spot- we’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderfully relaxing week at the cottage right on the water! It was cozy and comfortable with all the amenities one needs. Our hosts were very responsive, provided a compilation of restaurants and "things to see and do" in the area - a very useful guide. This luxurious cabin was perfect! Walking distance to a beautiful lighthouse and nestled back in the woods. The hot tub was a bonus after the long day of work/play. The kitchen had everything we needed and the living space had ample room. Clean and new furniture. The beds were super comfortable. We'll definately be back.

Comfortable historic cottage with a magnificent view in a working fishing community, exactly what we love about the coast of Maine. Very peaceful setting with an abundance of wildlife all around - great birding right from the porch. Very comfortable bed and great linens. Lots of great walks/hikes nearby for outdoor lovers, and plenty of dining and shopping just 20 minutes away in Bath. Well stocked kitchen had everything we needed. A woodburning fireplace was definitely a plus and we loved cozy fires in the evenings. Five Islands Lobster is a short and and very pleasant walk for great fresh seafood. We loved bringing lobsters back and steaming them for dinner. Charlie was extremely helpful and responsive. We look forward to a return stay!

The description is very clear, this is not a posh hotel. It is clean, comfortable and gorgeous. We traveled with our 11 y/o - she loved it, but I wouldn't recommend it to a family with smaller or rambunctious children. It was incredibly peaceful. The beach was great for finding sea glass. It made a great base camp for exploring the island while not having to fight crowds.

When we planned this vacation, we were looking for a location that provided serenity, a beautiful view, and walkable areas to totally relax from hectic year. Brad and Kathy's place far exceeded our expectations in every way. Their warmth, friendliness and helpfulness were felt throughout the week. Everything from attending yoga classes, golfing at North Haven and delicious fresh lobsters. It was a great experience and one that we certainly would re-visit in the future. Brad and Kathy are not just super hosts they are "super, super hosts!"

Great stay! The apartment was clean and the hosts were always very responsive and flexible. It was about a 10-15 drive to get into Bar Harbor so not too bad. WiFi was alright but did the job - wouldn’t be strong enough for a work from home situation, but strong enough for a vacation where we didn’t need it too often.

This property was awesome we were all very happy with the location, amenities, price and host. Hillary was polite and very helpful. This trip almost didn’t happen as our previous reservation was canceled 12 hours before check in from a different host. Luckily Hillary saved the week with her quick response time and answering questions about sleeping situations etc. would stay here again in a heart beat highly recommend!

The home was very welcoming and accommodating for our family of 5. The views were spectacular at sunrise, sunset and during the snowstorm. Bald Eagles and hawks would land in the trees right in front of the house. Also, there was a skating pond down the street my family love to visit almost each evening. There was an alarm going off as soon as we arrived, Debbi was incredibly fast responding and sending someone to check it out clear it up. On the plus someone came and plowed the driveway after the snowstorm it was great. She left a basket of local food and my family ate it up. We are so thankful for our relaxing week and would love to return.

We had a wonderful stay! The location is perfect—very close to Acadia, making it easy to explore the park. The house was extremely clean, well-maintained, and had comfortable beds with great sheets. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The only thing to note for families with young children is that there are stairs and space heaters, which might require some extra supervision. Overall, a fantastic place to stay, and we would definitely return!

Since this was my frist time staying at a airbnb house I Sent Tim a text an hour before we got here he promptly called me with positive feeling,he told me his plans for the next few days and who I would need to contact should we need something. the house was exactly as he explained the whole group of us were very pleased with everything avaliable,we spent lots of time out by the lake awesome sunrise sitting on the dock with cup of coffee, it was perfect. I will definitely recommend Tim's house to other people. we really didn't want to leave. I hope we can return someday. awesome job Tim keep up the honesty and good work.
