We have the best time at Peter house, from sunrise to sunset your place it’s magical all around. Stunning views, amazing surroundings, great hikes and the beach was perfect for the kids. We paddle board and spent lots of time fishing shells on the beach. Peter house had everything we needed and he was so responsive. Thanks Peter and we definitely be back.

Fantastic stay at Deborah's ridge-top cottage with a true country charm! Love the privacy, the beautiful natual surroundings, and the many sacred kingfishers around. Easy communications and smooth check-in/out, highly recommended!

Fantastic place to stay. Brilliant place for a family reunion. Just felt like home. Kitchen with everything. Great bathrooms with excellent hot water pressure. Ample lounge seating and great dining table easily seating the seven of us. Lovely views, private and quiet. Would highly recommend.

Photo's don't really do justice for this property, we were pleasantly surprised at how stunning this place is. It has beautiful views, very immaculately kept, comfy beds, beautiful linen, amazing shower, and an awesome property to explore. We loved listening to Kiwi sing during the night too. Kay and James kindly came at our request to help us ready their pizza oven too. There is a folder with clear advice on how to best settle in to their property and the surrounding amenities, a great stack of books to read and some games for kids to play. We loved our stay.

We enjoyed our stay, it was fit for purpose, a place that was calm and we all felt relaxed and well rested. The views, the sunsets and sunrises were outstanding. This is not a complaint, but the outdoor room did not have power. We were ok with that as there was enough light from the lighting on the deck. Pleas check it out as others may complain. I appreciate that you were more than happy to come to the house, but we did not feel it was necessary. I loved the beautiful flowers, the plants, the tui’s singing and it is quite possible we may have heard a Kiwi. The kitchen was well equipped, it had everything we needed, appreciated the first aid box too. Best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. Thank you.

This accomodation is full of personality and it is an interesting and enjoyable space to be in . While the Dairy Factory is an old building ,all the surfaces are freshly painted ,clean and well cared for. The fresh flowers and produce bring a welcoming touch .I will definitely recommend and will definitely return with the team I work with.Many thanks Sue

Immaculate presentation in a simply stunning location. Fantastic hosts and complete privacy and seclusion. Whangaroa is a hidden jewel, off the beaten track, with plenty of great activities close by. Highly recommend to stay and play at Kauri Hill.

Five adults and six children had a wonderful weekend in Mangawhai, using Carolynn's house as our base. There was plenty of space for everyone to find their own corner, both inside and out. The kitchen was big enough for several cooks to work in at once and the dining table was big enough for us to all sit around so mealtimes were a treat, not a chore. Amazing view to the east, including sunrise across water and moonscape sand dunes. The spa at the end of the day was a special treat for our family, as was the large TV screen in the lounge. We missed a few books and board games but everything else was in good supply. Thank you for a special long weekend with my family Carolynn.

Absolutely spectacular. The view was like something out of a movie. And the house itself was just gorgeous. Susanne and Paul were amazing hosts. Couldn’t recommended them highly enough! Would 100% recommend to stay and would 100% return ourselves. Just amazing!!! Thanks so much😀

Incredible location and home for a large group looking to spend time together. We were four adult couples and two toddlers. The space was perfect, having a bunk room and separate lounge for the little ones with enough bathrooms and privacy in different zones around the house. Direct beach access, quick walk to the local shop, cafe, playground and surfclub. Can't wait to come back!
