Had a wonderful stay here. The place is as pictured, and it was great to have all the amenities of a kitchen so we could store food and cook as needed. The location is lovely and convenient for Appledore and Westward Ho!, and we felt it was very good value for money. Would be ideal for a small family, especially if they like horses since it's based in a riding centre.

We’ve stayed in dozens of Appledore cottages over the years and we really liked The Old Boat House. It’s characterful, comfortable and the views over the estuary from the back are stunning. Well equipped and nice touches of welcome prosecco in the fridge along with tea, coffee etc. Owners were super helpful and communicative. Would definitely stay here again
