Lake house vacation rentals in Niagara-on-the-Lake

Booked at almost the last minute for a fishing trip if it had been any closer, I could have fished off the back patio. Short 30-second walk to meet our boat Captain. The place was very clean and comfortable, stocked with exactly what we needed. Easy to find, with plenty of room for 2, we could have fit three more with no problem. Hope to book again for the next fishing trips on the Niagara River next winter.

I'm so impressed with our stay at this beautiful lake house! As someone who's extremely particular about safety when choosing an Airbnb, I was thrilled to find that this house is located in a quiet and secure neighborhood - perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house itself was immaculately clean, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kids had an absolute blast playing and exploring the surroundings. We did encounter a small issue with the garage door breaking when we tried to open it, but our host was exceptionally responsive and willing to help resolve the issue. What really stood out to me was how much this house felt like home. The peaceful atmosphere, the stunning lake views, and the comfortable amenities all combined to create a truly unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this lake house to anyone looking for a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable getaway. We can't wait to come back and make more memories.

Kaitlyn sent a very detailed message prior to our check in with exact details on how to find the home, how to check in to the home and wifi details. Upon arrival we had zero issues checking in. The home itself is BEAUTIFUL. Everything is updated and cozy. The view is awesome! Everything was clean and organized. This was the most well-stocked Airbnb we have ever stayed in. It had EVERYTHING you could need! The neighborhood felt very safe and was very quiet. My children loved the toys/board games. We spent a lot of time just relaxing at the property and in the hot tub. It was not far from Niagara Falls and made for a great spot to stay in order to visit the falls as well as other scenic areas. We ate at Bandanas twice which was yummy. If you need a grocery store, I recommend Tops and if you need a nearby area with shops and restaurants, I recommend Lewiston. The checkout was also easy! Overall, we had a great time and have zero complaints! 10 out of 10! 😊

we went here for the February long weekend. had a great time despite the harsh weather and winter storms. the paths and area were maintain and plowed by the host and didn't have any issues whatsoever. the property is really beautiful and unique you have a beautifully renovated estate facing the farm and the lake. the interior is very beautiful with a rustic feel but with modern amenities. our host was responsive and quick and addressed our requests and we had a great time. lots to do in the area if you want to explore but also a great spot if you're looking for a peaceful getaway.

Perfect location for my daughter’s wedding morning photos and preparations. Even the sun came out for us.! The home was spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay so much. The house has a great layout for families with a beautiful view. We definitely recommend staying here!

We enjoyed our stay. Beds are comfortable, kitchen had what we needed, enjoyed the two living areas with comfortable chairs and couches. Laundry on site was convenient. Great location and walking distance to Port. A couple notes: If you enjoy a dark bedroom, make sure to bring a sleep mask. The rooms were bright. The shower is quite tight to get into and a bit slippery, but we managed and made it work with our toddler. We would come back again.

We selected Alissa’s place in preference of another Airbnb which was in the close proximity and we made the right decision. This house may not be on the shore like the other but it’s literally 5 mins walk to sunset beach which is very nice indeed. Also there is one of the best Italian restaurants in the area just around the corner. Lots of walks to go on from the house and we explored them all. The house is exactly as described and in great condition, all the beds were comfy and the showers are great. Easy to get access with the app controlled front door and a very quiet neighborhood. Overall, very highly recommend Alissa’s place.

We had an amazing time, the kids all wished we could live there for good. The weather wasn’t the greatest for us during our stay, but the heated salt water pool was the highlight. Warm or cold, rain or shine we got to enjoy every minute of the pool! The kids really enjoyed the multiple ships that passed through the canal. Danny and Sharan were great hosts. Definitely recommend this place.

Deserves a 10/10 rating. You can’t ask for more in this place, feels like home. Host is super cool and friendly. I would definitely book again!

Eric’s home is what you see in the pictures and more! Great home with all the furnishing you would need for your stay. Well equipped kitchen, entertainment, washroom filled with towels and they included slippers for the hot tub. Eric is a great host. Quick and responsive. Gives amazing recommendations for wine tours and restaurants so definitely ask when booking! We can’t wait to come back to Eric’s lovely Airbnb!

I recently stayed at Rainbow’s cottage farmhouse through Airbnb, and I wanted to share my thoughts on the experience. - The accommodation was clean, comfortable, spacious and exceeded my expectations. - Rainbow was very responsive and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed during my stay. - The neighborhood was quiet,safe,convenient with plenty of restaurants, attractions and a nice trail in a few minutes. - Me and my friends had the best time at the farmhouse, we created core memories. I would definitely come back with my family or friends especially during summer so that we can also enjoy at the pool. -I’ve also noticed that there is a play area inside and at the backyard too definitely perfect for family with kids Thank you so much on behalf of me and my friends for accommodating us and being helpful throughout 😊

We had visitors from the US and decided to book a place where we can accommodate them for their stay and glad we found Marsha’s place! We were all surprised to see how spacious it is compared to the photos. The interior is very neat and homey. Definitely recommend this place for a larger group! Marsha was very responsive when we have questions about the place. Will consider coming back here for the next gathering.

One of the best Airbnbs we have stayed at. Super new. Super clean. Bright and modern. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The location was exactly what we needed as we were there for a tournament at the local arena. The host is really quick to respond to any questions you may have. 100% would recommend and would stay again.

It’s a very big spacious modern house with a mid level living room area as well. Everything spotlessly clean. Great for big groups . We had a wonderful time for a reunion of friends. It’s a small drive to Niagara as well which is convenient. No grocery stores very close and needs to be driven to but a not an issue. Highly recommended for any visitor to Niagara. Also the host is very responsive. It was rebooking considering the last time it was booked there was a major winter storm just the day before and still she considered changing the dates. Special appreciation for that.

We absolutely loved our stay at Justin's place. It is an incredibly charming little cottage-like place and we would love to come back - hopefully in better weather to enjoy the back porch and yard in the evening. My husband and I commented on how perfect of a size place it is - very spacious and welcoming. I would say the ONLY (very minor) complaint is that the master bedroom bed is small. Granted, we are used to a king size bed, however, the room is definitely large enough to accommodate a larger bed. Having said that, we would 100% come back. Thank you for the fantastic stay!

We had a fantastic stay at this recently renovated house in Port Dalhousie! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how cosy and welcoming the space was. The tasteful decoration gave the home a warm, modern feel, and it was clear that a lot of thought and care went into the renovation. As a family with a one-year-old, we appreciated how well-equipped the house was for our needs. The layout was perfect, and everything we could need was available, from a comfortable crib for our baby girl to a fully stocked kitchen for preparing meals. The home was not only child-friendly but also very spacious and easy to navigate with a toddler. The location was ideal—just a short walk to the lakefront, where we enjoyed peaceful strolls and close to local cafes and parks. We also loved the quiet and serene neighbourhood, which provided the perfect relaxing atmosphere after a busy day of exploring St. Catharines and the surrounding area.

Great Location and Space. We were in Niagara for a family wedding and the house was prefect for us. Dina’s place was a short walk to the shops, restaurants etc but on a nice quiet street. We were 8 adults and there was more than enough space and bathrooms for us all. Most of the rooms are large with just the right amount of furniture. The house was very clean and bright. The backyard space is very pleasant. The house is well equipped. Dina was quick to respond when needed. Check in was very easy. I highly recommend Dina’s house.
