House vacation rentals in Newark

Wow! Pictures do not do it justice. The place is brand new. They have everything you could want including bathroom supplies cooking basics fire wood paper goods. This place was simply amazing. I mentioned cooking a turkey and not only did they make sure a roasting pan was there but also supplied disposable ones. The place looks professionally decorated. They had directions for everything. The small touches were fantastic. They even supplied cotton pads for your face. The layout is fantastic. The views of the lake were beautiful. We were all sad to leave. As great as it was in the winter I want to come back in the summer. There’s a bar across the water that you could just take a raft over to!

We had a group of ladies from around the state, everyone said they would absolutely come back to the property again! We arrived and it was incredibly clean, smelled amazing and was setup for our bachelorette perfectly! Laura was responsive, helpful and went above and beyond. The pool and hot tub were perfect and so relaxing. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms extremely clean and everything you could ever need in the home.. bug spray, beach towels, pool floats, kitchen appliances (toaster, many coffee choices, etc). We hope to be back for another weekend at Laura’s rental!

The house is just what we were looking for as we searched for a cozy home to retreat to for a low key bachelorette weekend. The house was cute, and communication was great leading up to and during our stay. Spacious enough for 10 of us to spread out in open concept! Two sleeper sofas were also a plus to accommodate sleeping. Local restaurant recommendations were a hit and the bride had a blast!

Matthew's place was probably the best maintained and best appointed Airbnb I have stayed in, and I've stayed in many. The house is very large, lovely, functional, and was spotlessly clean. You can tell that Matthew takes his responsibility as a host extremely seriously. The massive theater and workout rooms were a big benefit. The mud room was great to hold all the coats of shoes of a big group. The house was a great spot for a family gathering with lots of hang out space and a large dining room. The outdoor space looked lovely and is probably fabulous in the warmer months. Some (mild) street noise could be heard from a couple of the bedrooms, but this didn't bother us. This is our new home away from home in Columbus!

We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The house is in a convenient location that also happens to be beautiful, on the Muskingum River, with hills rising to the east and west. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds and couches comfortable, the house immaculate, and the hosts responsive to our requests. No complaints whatsoever.

We had a blast! We came down for a weekend with 3 couples and 4 children and the house was the perfect size and space! The pool is awesome and the lake and surrounding area are awesome! 100% will stay again and recommend to others!

Dogwood retreat is a great place to host a big group! Even with the amount of people we had, it did not feel crowded. Thank you for making the stay enjoyable and comfortable!

Hilary's place is lovely! Beautiful and comfortable house and furniture. The decor was gorgeous, the beds were very comfy, and everything was very clean. The location was great, too! Walking distance to several great coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping, yet on a side street that was nice and quiet with ample parking. The German Village is a great area, with beautiful architecture and a sophisticated, fun vibe. We felt very safe walking around the area at night, and Hilary's place was a lovely place for our girls' get-together. I'd love to visit during warmer weather to make use of the outdoor seating area, and will definitely rebook if ever in the area again.

It’s a very comfortable and spacious house. My group enjoyed and got good use out of the hot tub. It is perfect for a weekend getaway or hangout with friends.

I stayed at Don & Susan’s for about a week, in beautiful fall weather. The house is practically on the Kenyon campus but on its own quiet street. The house is extremely comfortable and full of both light and open space. There are so many pleasant places to sit. It took me awhile to realize if I had coffee at the kitchen table I could look out into the woods. Plenty of parking and an instantly responsive hostess right in town. The kitchen truly does have everything a cook needs — I made use of the crockpot, Cuisinart, Le Creuset pots, great knives, herbs and spices, ovens, both types of coffee makers and more. Don & Susan were wonderfully accommodating to my evolving schedule. It feels like a real home and I can’t wait to go back.

Our stay at Chase’s place was great for our weekend trip to Columbus! Easy to find and enter, a close drive to the downtown area where we spent most of our time, and the rooms were clean and cozy. Thank you for hosting us!!!

Rori’s place was great! The space is big and can easily accommodate for a cozy stay. There was also a convenient parking spot provided that was available right outside, so unpacking was a breeze. Overall, I felt like I was at home! Would love to stay at rori’s place again, when we come back to Ohio!

I have stayed here twice now and it has always been a perfect stay very nice very clean and very homey I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone!

Loved the area and the house! It was so cute and comfortable. Was in town visiting a local school and I would definitely stay here again if my son chooses to go to that school.

We love this house. The decor is charming, personal, interesting, and enjoyable. The beds are comfortable, the hot water is great (good baths) and the amenities and personal touches are many. The kitchen is nice and well equipped. And the refrigerator is not only special, it works great. The place is spotlessly clean and accommodated is very well. And our hosts were very attentive to our needs and comforts. We would happily stay there again

Nothing bad to say about this space whatsoever!! Staci is an awesome host!! She was very easy to contact and quick with her responses!! Her space was clean, very roomy, the beds were super comfortable (one bed is even adjustable), and the refrefrigerator has alexa and plays music (tell me that's not nice). I would recommend this space to anyone visiting the Columbus, OH. area.

We have stayed at George and Sharon’s rental property a number of times. It is private and peaceful, along with being close to several of our friends and family.

WOW! We really loved this place! Our family stayed here while some work was being done on our home. At first I was curios about the property, knowing it is located on the backlot of a commercial business. But immediately any hesitance went out the window. The space is so peaceful and beautiful. We loved sitting in the back room with coffee in the morning and looking out at the nature surrounding the property. We hosted my family for my son's 11th birthday and there was plenty of space for family to spread out inside and outside. The beds were comfortable and the whole space just felt very clean My family has been staying in Airbnbs in the area for 4 months during the renovation and this property was our absolutely favorite. We would recommend to anyone visiting the area! Thank You Sam!!

Rachel's place was exactly as described. It was clean, comfortable, and best of all, pet friendly. The one floor living was perfect for us and our tiny deaf and blind dogs. No need to worry about stairs. It was easy to get the dogs outside into the front or back yard. The house was very clean. When we stay at houses and hotels with our dogs I check under all furniture for medications, old food, mouse bait, and other things our dogs might find. I have found it all in other houses we've stayed in. Rachel's house was clean and trouble free. Beds were clean and comfortable. The house is near amazing walking trails and a huge shopping area. Very convenient to all of Columbus. We would definitely stay here again.
