Come stay in our apartment connected to the barn on our active working farm. We are located 3 miles from the state capitol building in Montpelier, but you would never know it up here. You can cross country ski, snowshoe, hike, or bike out your front door, and we are located within 45 min. from Sugarbush, Stowe, Mad River Glen, & Bolton Valley. You can also check out the local beer & spirits scene, or just relax at the farm. Guests are always welcome to tour the grounds and see the animals.

The "Dell" sits at the entrance to Double Z Land & Livestock, a working farm owned and operated by The Abbruzzese family. Rolling hills, open fields, and grazing farm animals grace this 75-acre farm. If you want a glimpse of country life, seek to switch up your work-from-home routine, or just want to get away, come take up residence on the farm. If it's lambing season, you might even see some babies ;)

The land is a mixture of open areas where we rotate our sheep flock daily, and wooded land with trails and old stone walls. Outlier Inn Bungalow on Farm Upstate Catskills

Where to begin...Joshua's Outlier Inn microcosmos is really the loveliest place and has such variety of things to see and do. About half of the compound is little cottages and bungalows that are fully winterized and with all modern conveniences, including wifi. We staid in the bungalow for 5 nights and loved it. The other half is a summer-only "glamping" setup with a variaty of geodesic domes, tiny homes and cabins, with shared outdoor kitchens and showers and with outhouses. Communal year round sauna and hot tub. The place has sheep, chickens and alpacas, a great little farm store with local products to eat, read or wear. Meticulous recycling and composting. Great hikes, eats and breweries are nearby. We had such a wonderful time and were able to come with three dogs, who loved every minute as well. There is no doubt that we will be coming back, and soon.

Sylviane and Emeric were amazing hosts! Their whole farm is amazing and the rooms had everything we could have needed and more. Our children loved to see the chickens and the dog was super friendly. Playing with Sylviane and Emeric’s children was another highlight for our children. The breakfast and coffee were just like the photos and helped us start our day. Their bread that is baked fresh daily was just delicious abs well priced. Thank you So much for such a wonderful experience 🙌

Laurie and Norman have made a great space that has everything you could need already provided, all while letting you get away from the hecticness of the city. We were in town for a wedding and managed to sneak in a few restaurants and a trip the beach (all recommendations from Norman)! Relaxed, cozy, and delightful. Don't miss out on exploring the grounds and meeting all the animals.

We had a fantastic stay at Scott’s place! It was a same-day booking, and Scott went above and beyond to ensure that our final destination wasn’t too far away. The home was spotless, comfortable, and perfect for our family, including our 10-year-old son and 4-year-old daughter. A highlight of our stay was meeting Scott’s goats—our children absolutely loved the experience and the company of the animals. We truly appreciated Scott’s hospitality and can’t wait to return in the summer! Highly recommend!

We had an excellent experience with Todd and his cottage. It was a perfect weekend getaway. The space was very quiet and peaceful but close to local attractions. Todd had great recommendations for restaurants, shops, wineries, breweries, and other activities, all of which were no more than 10 minutes from the cottage via car. The space was small but appeared exactly as described in the listing. It was a perfect option for us and our dog. We would definitely return in the future!

We stayed at Bobbie's lovely farmhouse - 5 friends for a girls weekend! It was a perfect place, we all loved it. The house is clean and very cozy. Comfortable accommodations, kitchen is well stocked, and many thoughtful touches. lots of space, 4 comfortable bedrooms and 3 full baths. Plenty of towels! Bobbie was very responsive to any inquiries. It was an ideal location for us and we hope to return again sometime!

We had an amazing stay! The beds were comfy. There is a local grocery store near by. We went snowboarding at Mt snow which was about a 25 min drive - not bad at all! The hot tub was perfect and the views were stunning. We loved Robert’s Glass blowing class as well.
