Charming little hobby farm. Great spot not too far out of the cities or towns. Picturesque little brook allowed us the strange zen like thrill of walking out on ice. Can only imagine how fun it is to take canoes out in the summer. Trevor has built himself a hidden gem of a dock that was great for our couples weekend getaway but I could imagine returning alone just to hold up and write. The property accepts and suits all kinds. We got a kick out of reading the extensive guestbook filled with stories of all sorts from families to hippies and everyone in between!

The stay at Heather's Cozy Cottage was an absolute treat for my wife and I. We were able to meet Heather during our check in, and she made us feel right at home from the second we arrived! After having trouble with our previous listing, to be able to stay at Heather's cottage really helped save our weekend! She even had fresh bottles water and snacks for us! The cottage is a beautiful little hand built paradise, and you can truly appreciate the craftsmanship of the builder. If you're lucky enough to stay here, you'll feel just as at-home as we did. I highly recommend booking with Heather at her cottage if you're looking for the perfect cozy stay in Appleton with out it being too busy! Thanks Heather! We'll be back again!!

Great space to stay for the weekend! I brought my 2 kids with (1yr old & 2months) and they didn’t have a problem with the occasional crying or screeches from them. They also allowed us to check in early upon request and were fantastic with responding to messages. Only downfall is that it got a little chilly at night but it is winter in Wisconsin so we expected nothing less. Thank you for the great stay. (:
