Vacation rentals with breakfast in Morro Bay

Our hosts were very accommodating. They brought us fruit and delicious homemade scones the first morning. We were in the house with them but it was always quiet. The bed was comfortable. There was coffee and tea available. We would definitely stay again.

AirBnb message: This rental is a cozy and quiet spot for a group trip to Los Osos. Nice views of the Morro Rock and Morro Bay from the upper deck above the house/front sitting area and has most amenities you would need to host a nice family group/gathering. Heating worked well during the chilly winter nights. Within easy walking distance of trailheads for El Moro Elfin Forest Open Space Preserve. Ample driveway space as well that can park up to three cars. One detail should be noted though, the beds do mostly have standard spring mattresses if that is a big deciding factor.

This was definitely a great find in the area. The house was just as described, and even better. Josephine went above and beyond as a host. There were fresh flowers throughout, a well-stocked kitchen with additional snacks and drinks available for the guests and several games to play. The inside patio looked like a fun place to hang out (we were too busy to take advantage). The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Josephine responds quickly to any questions. We were walking distance to downtown SLO, which was convenient to avoid parking in town. My friend and I would stay again without hesitation!

We loved our stay at Rob and Trudi's casita. It was so peaceful to wake up with the sun and enjoy the beautiful views of the vineyard. The backyard space is a wonderful gathering place around the hot tub. Our young grandson loved eating outside at the picnic table. If it's too hot on one side of the casita you can switch to front of the casita and sit in the shade. The home is well cared for and hot tub was easy to use and kept clean. The casita is close to many wonderful hikes and an easy 10 minutes from the airport. While we did not tour the many local wineries, this is the perfect place for a girl's weekend retreat!

We absolutely loved our stay! This home gave our family something we didn’t realize we were missing —connection. We haven’t felt this close in years. The “no electronics after 9” rule was actually a gift (yes, even for our 26-year-old!). We played board games like Sorry! and laughed more than we have in a long time. The kids' room was perfect for our 10-year-old—bigger than the photos show, with super comfy twin beds. Each bedroom felt like a hotel setup with its own closet, and the bathrooms were spotless. You can tell the cleaners take pride in their work. The beds were comfy, there were plenty of towels, and the AC worked perfectly. Internet was solid, and the amenities provided made everything easy and comfortable. We felt safe and at home the entire time. This place struck the perfect balance between comfort, technology, and intentional rest. We already rebooked with the same host for our trip home. That should tell you everything. Highly recommend!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Michael’s house in SLO. The location was walkable to downtown and easy restaurants nearby. We appreciated the careful details from snacks and wine upon arrival to fresh eggs and cold water in the fridge. We ended up making more meals than planned because the kitchen was so well-stocked and nice! Our kids had a blast with the toys in the spare room. The house had everything we needed and we’ll definitely be back!

Bill and JJ are very welcoming and kind hosts. I arrived a bit later then expected and they were kind enough to still greet me at the door. The bed is very comfortable and the farmhouse vibe is cozy. I would definitely recommend especially to any solo travelers who are making the LA to SF commute and need a place to stay halfway between both. Also the breakfast had a lot of options and was a nice touch -- thanks Bill & JJ!

Great experience! From the moment we arrived, Mack, the host, made us feel so welcome. He’s super friendly and gave us recommendations for restaurants nearby. One of the highlights of our stay was the thoughtful touches, like the complimentary wine that greeted us upon arrival. The breakfast each morning was impressive,fresh, delicious, and prepared with care. The inn itself is cozy and inviting, with such a great vibe. We are definitely coming back. Highly recommend!

I love staying at Raeanna’s place, her home is beautiful inside and out, somehow you feel like you are at your cool grandma’s house, the room I stayed in had a great bed, water by the night table and even beers in the fridge, the best part, the shower and tub was outside, I really liked this place. She was super nice and hopefully I’ll get to stay with her again!

A magical stay we wished could have lasted longer. The place is tastefully decorated and incredibly peaceful. Access is easy and convenient. The Oak Room was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed—including a fantastic local soap in the shower, which we promptly purchased from the shop next door. The house itself is full of charm and steeped in history. The only thing that made us want to leave the room in the morning was the irresistible smell of bacon—the breakfast was delicious and wonderfully varied.

everything is just nice, view is stunning, bed is super comfortable, breakfast is yummy, the seafood restaurant Renee recommended is also good flavor and chilling vibe.

Michelle’s & Garette’s place was absolutely top notch. Beautiful location, amazing attention to details and even better hospitality. We really loved every second of our stay and each small thing that was added right from delicious homemade cookies, scrumptious breakfast and little gifts added positively to the overall experience. Highly recommend this place and the hosts and can’t wait to visit again.

Great location near SLO & Avila Beach! Quaint vineyard setting, with eclectic antique furniture. Host also left us snacks and their wine, which was a nice touch. Highly recommended.

My stay at Mimi’s home was great! A comfortable room, sitting room, private bathroom and easy access to upstairs. Everything was clean and inviting. Mimi was kind and created a beautiful morning breakfast table. We had a nice morning sharing stories about life and the surrounding areas. Thank you Mimi!!
