This is an older house that has not been recently updated; there are some quirks, but most guests find it quite charming. I brought my mother and 6 year old to stay for a short weekend and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the home and hosts. The home is a lot bigger than I had expected and my daughter was over the moon with the huge selection of toys, including a little electric jeep that she could ride down the street. It is a wonderful family spot and the hosts gave us the best recommendations and were so friendly and welcoming. We made a lovely new friend, Edna the chicken, who followed us up and down the driveway which my kiddo loved. I highly recommend, especially if traveling with little ones!

My family and I had a great stay at this location. The beach was just down the street and made for a perfect evening outing. We also took day trips out to the Channel Islands which was only about 15 mins drive from the house to get to the boat dock. The house was clean, plenty of towels, kitchen was nice and open and had everything that we needed. Aaron was very responsive to questions and was very helpful when we left something behind. I would highly recommend!

Leah's place is great in every way. The unit is bright, well organized, very clean and has all the amenities needed by a traveler. The location is excellent--in the heart of Carpinteria so you can walk to everything--restaurants, coffee shops, grocery store and the beach.
