Wonderful gem hidden in the deep eucalyptus forest . Amazing and very comfortable house . Ideal for rechargeable vacations . Laura was very kind to proved us with woods for the fireplace . Also they have a very nice restaurant with local food . Thank you we will come back.

Ruth's villa is highly recommended for a stay in the Algarve. We were there for 8 days and enjoyed the phenomenal view of the coast from the terrace in the morning and evening. Living and dining rooms are very spacious and good. The bedrooms were cozy, beds comfortable. We also liked using the pool. There are excellent restaurants in the area. It is 30 to 40 minutes to the coast. We were lucky with the weather and were able to take beautiful walks in Monchique and on the coast. And in the evening, enjoy the magnificent starry sky over the villa. The contact with Ruth was always pleasant and friendly. Thank you.

This review asks if the pictures are like the listing and the real answer is not even close...this place is far nicer than the pictures. Simon (the helper) was so patient, kind and informative. I have been to many airbnb places before but for tranquility and views.. this one is incredible. The driveway is a bit scary but welcome to Europe for that. our family enjoyed every moment here. Thank you for making the first leg of our trip so memorable.

Lovely villa. Lots of outside space and great pool area. The pool isn’t heated so very cold in February! We still enjoyed a few swims though :). Great location for exploring all the Algarve- 20mins to Lagos, Albuferia etc. Donna Anna & Marina beaches were our favourite, stunning! It is located on quite a busy road, which you can hear from all the outside space. It didn’t bother us though, we preferred not being too remote. The indoor space was great, plenty of room for 3 adults and 2 children. Fully equipped with everything you need and more. Super responsive host, we loved our stay

Amazing place to stay in the Algarve. If you’re not familiar with this area it’s a challenge to find a location that puts you in a place where coastal access is possible and the peace and quiet of Monchique is also available. An absolutely beautiful home with tons of character, views and space to spread out. We were here in the winter and used the living room fireplace a lot which was a nice treat. There’s a decent grocery store in Monchique but stocking up in a larger city beforehand is not a bad idea. Would recommend in a heartbeat and really hope we can come back.

We had a fantastic time in the beautiful villa! Beautiful terrace to enjoy the magnificent view of the region. The hot jacuzzi is a real added value. Very comfy beds and spacious rooms. The kitchen and residence also have everything at hand. A visit to the family restaurant is really recommended!! Thank you Laura for hosting. We hope to come back someday!! ❤️
