House vacation rentals in Monchique

Very well equipped and spacious home (better than photographs). Recently Remodeled with everything we need. We arrived easily with the signs. Near the motorway. Super available host and responding immediately (ex: pool was a little dirty and 15 minutes later they were cleaning). Available for trading. Some miminhos we love (water, cafe etc). Loes and Mario gave us a warm welcome on arrival. The accommodation was just as described, a beautiful, quiet and relaxing location. Very private with lots of outdoor space to use. Comfortable accommodation with everything you need for a great holiday. Nothing was too much trouble, a lovely warm and welcoming couple. Had the added extra joy of their two beautiful and very well behaved dogs and playful cat. Look forward to our next trip as we will definitely want to stay with them again. Can't thank them enough for making our stay very relaxing and comfortable. xx

Beautiful spacious Villa. Great outdoor space with pool, bbq and an outdoor toilet. And of course stunning views. All bedrooms were stocked with clean towels and bedding. There were lots of glasses, plates and cooking utensils. Because it’s private we could play music and not disturb any neighbours. Fantastic stay!

Nelson was very friendly at the welcome and occasionally sent messages if everything was going well with us. The cottage was a bit remote about 12 minutes from Aljezur. The road to it is a bit difficult to drive, but we got it used to it quickly. The cottage itself was very nicely maintained and clean and everything we needed was present (kitchen equipment, towels, washing machine...). There were 2 full bedrooms and 2 small bathrooms (a little dated). The domain had a wonderfully private swimming pool with beautiful views, which we have used daily. Keep in mind that there is no wifi and also only 4G range...sometimes on the terrace. We once enjoyed kicking off all our electronics. :) When we needed full internet, we went into town. In Aljezur there are several grocery stores and restaurants.

I've been looking forward to writing this review since we checked in. Catarina and Antonio's house is absolutely amazing. As my wife said when she first saw it, the pictures don't do it justice, it is one of the few places that look even better in real life than it does in the pictures. Beautifully decorated, amazing land for hiking around the property, extremely peaceful and Antonio was so helpful and responsive at all times. I would recommend this property to anybody looking for peace and quiet but still close enough to all possible amenities. Thank you Catarina and Antonio!

House in excellent location, spacious, with plenty of land, ideal for resting. Great for groups and families. The pictures don't do the house justice, bigger than we expected. As the terrain is turned south to the pool always at an excellent temperature.

We stayed there for 10 days, the property offers everything you need, definitely ample space and stunning views! Communication goes very smoothly! The ideal base for visiting both the busy south coast and the beautiful west coast. You do need some courage to get to the cottage😉, for us that was no problem, we were always very satisfied to drive back up our mountain in the evening after a nice busy day, the peace in..

José is a wonderful host! The accommodation was super clean, very very cozy and tidy and everything smelled very fresh. Everything has been thought of with heart and soul: fresh flowers, fruit, water, cookies, etc. There were even two umbrellas and Nordic Walking poles! Very fast internet. The location is perfect; a few doors away is a small supermarket (8-13), the accommodation is close to hiking trails and a 5-minute walk downhill is the center of Monchique. José knows a lot about the area and has shown us beautiful places in the Monchique. Thank you very much, we enjoyed it to the fullest and will definitely come back!

We had a lovely time staying at Małgorzata's place. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. The kids were very happy that they had so many toys to try and a small playground. We could even use the fireplace, which allowed us to make ourselves comfortable on the rainy days. Thank you for the wonderful time and the nice communication/care!

A very nice stay at Paula's, far from the crowds of the coast. Beautiful view of the valley, clean, functional accommodation, ideal for a stay for 2. Paula has always been very responsive and accommodating. Special mention for breakfast in the sun, on the terrace! Great to kick off the day!

Carlos's place is very cozy and equipped with all the comforts. Rural but close to Monchique. Carlos is an amazing host. Beautiful garden and a nice place to stay. Thanks!

Super equipped apartment! Toilet paper, oil, spices, shower gel, dishwasher tab, etc. all available. Top equipped kitchen to the Parmesan grater! Spaces are rather small, you have little space to open your suitcases. No way to sit outside. Double bed 140 cm. Apartment very, very clean! Super good, fast and mega friendly communication with Maria! Takes care of everything at a distance. Thank you Maria!
