House vacation rentals in Monchique

Great hosts, great house would return and would recommend to all.

This was a great place. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this location. We knew it was going to be out of the way, but with a rental car it was easy to get to and felt very private and peaceful, which we enjoyed. We plan to come back again and bring friends. The house is spacious and the hosts were very helpful and responsive during our stay!

Loes and Mario gave us a warm welcome on arrival. The accommodation was just as described, a beautiful, quiet and relaxing location. Very private with lots of outdoor space to use. Comfortable accommodation with everything you need for a great holiday. Nothing was too much trouble, a lovely warm and welcoming couple. Had the added extra joy of their two beautiful and very well behaved dogs and playful cat. Look forward to our next trip as we will definitely want to stay with them again. Can't thank them enough for making our stay very relaxing and comfortable. xx

Beautiful spacious Villa. Great outdoor space with pool, bbq and an outdoor toilet. And of course stunning views. All bedrooms were stocked with clean towels and bedding. There were lots of glasses, plates and cooking utensils. Because it’s private we could play music and not disturb any neighbours. Fantastic stay!

Nelson was very friendly at the welcome and occasionally sent messages if everything was going well with us. The cottage was a bit remote about 12 minutes from Aljezur. The road to it is a bit difficult to drive, but we got it used to it quickly. The cottage itself was very nicely maintained and clean and everything we needed was present (kitchen equipment, towels, washing machine...). There were 2 full bedrooms and 2 small bathrooms (a little dated). The domain had a wonderfully private swimming pool with beautiful views, which we have used daily. Keep in mind that there is no wifi and also only 4G range...sometimes on the terrace. We once enjoyed kicking off all our electronics. :) When we needed full internet, we went into town. In Aljezur there are several grocery stores and restaurants.

I've been looking forward to writing this review since we checked in. Catarina and Antonio's house is absolutely amazing. As my wife said when she first saw it, the pictures don't do it justice, it is one of the few places that look even better in real life than it does in the pictures. Beautifully decorated, amazing land for hiking around the property, extremely peaceful and Antonio was so helpful and responsive at all times. I would recommend this property to anybody looking for peace and quiet but still close enough to all possible amenities. Thank you Catarina and Antonio!

House in excellent location, spacious, with plenty of land, ideal for resting. Great for groups and families. The pictures don't do the house justice, bigger than we expected. As the terrain is turned south to the pool always at an excellent temperature.

A wonderful little retreat, perfect to switch off and relax. The pool area is perfect for children and adults alike. It's the small, thoughtful touches that make it wonderful. The home is very well-equipped - they really have thought of everything. I can't praise it enough!

Nice house with an absolutely gorgeous view in pictoresque, quiet surroundings. Well-kept pool, nice terrace to the south. Useful fireplace with a good supply of firewood for those chilly early-Spring evenings. In terms of supplies, be prepared to bring just about everything with you. The only things provided were dish-washing liquid, tablets for the dish machine, and two rolls of toilet paper. No salt, pepper, oil or any other usual Airbnb-leftover amenities.

We had a lovely time at Małgorzata's place. The views from the terrace are breathtaking. The kids were very happy that they had so many toys to try out and a small playground. We were even able to use the fireplace, which made it nice and cozy on rainy days. Thank you for the wonderful time and the nice communication/care!

Loved our stay here. We wish we could have stayed longer and made better use of the beautiful outdoor area. This was our favourite place that we stayed at in Portugal. The location is perfect as long as you have a car.

Beautiful home with very tasteful decor in a quaint part of the Algarve. Great location if you plan to discover the Algarve by car. I would definitely book this home again
