Martin is a great host. He was helpful at all times and helped me as much as possible. I left the space a little earlier because it was too hot and my son is autistic and not very agile to go up and down the stairs where the caravan was but this had more to do with my personal circumstances than with Martin since he made it clear at all times that the site was not suitable for small children.

We were welcomed into Lou and Jac's beautiful home with a bottle of wine and a basket of freshly picked oranges left for us. The house is spacious and cozy, clean and well equipped. Hosts were attentive and friendly. The house is in the countryside not far from the village. We felt at home, Great experience!

Our best Airbnb experience ever! Before and during Simon was communicative and responsive. The place was clean, comfortable and well equipped for our stay of one month. The bed was super comfortable, the patio was lovely and the town was special. We liked being able to walk to grocery stores, restaurants, cafes and great hiking trails. It’s a friendly, historic town and we never tired of wandering the cobblestone streets. Thank you Simon and Tanya!

Everything is fine. Great hosts. Friendly. Responsive. Informative. Service-oriented. And personally on site. Nice studio apartment with courtyard terrace. Almost new. Everything is cozy, tasteful and functionally furnished. Heating makes sense in February. Quiet location on the outskirts with views and within walking distance to the center. I would take the exact same place in Monchique again. Thanks, Mart.

I've been looking forward to writing this review since we checked in. Catarina and Antonio's house is absolutely amazing. As my wife said when she first saw it, the pictures don't do it justice, it is one of the few places that look even better in real life than it does in the pictures. Beautifully decorated, amazing land for hiking around the property, extremely peaceful and Antonio was so helpful and responsive at all times. I would recommend this property to anybody looking for peace and quiet but still close enough to all possible amenities. Thank you Catarina and Antonio!
