I loved staying here! The kitchen was so clean and everything was labeled. It was so nice making breakfast before a full day of skiing. The bus stop is a quick walk away and takes your right to the Mountian base area. The beds were very comfortable and everyone was very respectful of quiet hours. Everything was so clean too!! I felt right at home. I will definitely be coming here again!

"Hostel du Nord" - Single (Luxury Bunk) Bed

Great place. Would have liked warmer blankets for the night, as I tend to run cold. The amenities were clean and they even have a sauna. The bed and shutters felt really private, and there were nice showers available. Very pleasant common area, as well. I had a hard time initially finding staff to check in with and let me into the building because I was a very last minute booking. Once there was someone on the scene, they were very helpful.

In the lobby there's a little sign that says "Come as a guest, leave as family" and I believe they really mean it. In the evening I came back to ask for an extra pillow, and though I had never met the person at the desk, they knew me by name (without looking at the computer). It's not that it would have been impossible to guess, it's that they took the time to learn it. They have fun events in the evenings, pancakes on the weekends, and overall do an awesome job of making you feel at home. We will be back!

Always love staying at the HHH! This is my 6th or 7th time, and definitely wont be my last. I always look forward to staying at the hostel as much as the rest of my trip. Its one of the most affordable spots near Grand Marais which is whole heartedly appreciated, especially by single travelers on a budget like myself. Keep doing what youre doing! Cant wait for the next time around 😎

Cindy was an absolutely amazing host and the house was charming, comfortable, and located in the heart of Fort Collins. From check in to check out the whole experience was above and beyond. I was very grateful to find Cindy's place "Mrs Moore's and More" on Airbnb. Cindy was delightful over the messaging and very helpful with everything. I did enjoy sitting in the TV room the first night that I was there and watching some Netflix after a long drive there. The kitchen was nice to prepare food with a nice big range/stove to cook on. She accommodated cabinet space in the kitchen for myself and other guests which is nice. What was comforting was the home feel downstairs with the comfortable furniture with the home feel. My room, #2, was ultra comfortable. I loved the white noise machine that was provided that helped with much h needed sleep. Everything was ultra clean and comfortable.

The bunk house far exceeded expectations. Super friendly guests and the most accommodating staff you could wish for. Nancy and Fish are super hosts and the staff offered great suggestions for local restaurants as well as points of interest. Truly made to feel at home. I would highly recommend and certainly plan on returning for future visits to the vail area.

The Bunkhouse is a rare gem. While searching for quick lodging in the area, I quickly discovered there were few options, with most being anywhere from simply overpriced to grotesquely expensive. The Bunkhouse, on the other hand, offers overnight lodging at a cost that feels like a bargain in comparison—but don’t mistake that for meaning the Bunkhouse is "cheap." The facilities are exactly as advertised. It is a hostel, so if you’re expecting a king-size bed all to yourself, this isn’t the place for you. However, if you’re looking for an authentic stay with positive vibes, friendly staff, outgoing guests, and maybe even the inside scoop on where the best backcountry skiing is that weekend, you can’t go wrong. I, for one, love places like the Bunkhouse, as they are becoming few and far between. If you’re on a mountain adventure and need a place to rest your head before your next alpine start, this is the spot.

This place was exactly what I needed for a quiet work location. The room was spacious, and the stay was quiet, without interruption, allowing me to get much-needed work done. The bed was comfortable, and the two large desks allowed me plenty of room to spread out. The wifi worked well for my needs. The place itself has a nice homey feel, great convenient location, and the girls working at the office were nice. My only issue was with another guest in the dorm room making horrendous noises I don’t even know count as snoring.. so I was glad to be able to move to the other room, where another guest came in later and was also horribly loud. I know it’s a bit of a crapshoot staying in a dorm room but for the love of God, if you are a loud sleeper get a private room!

I LOVE this hostel. Everyone who works here is very friendly and they work hard to keep the place clean and running. I felt very comfortable being here, and I’m already thinking about my next trip here. This is a place people like coming back to, I’ve seen multiple guests that have been coming here for years.

Wonderful find! Stayed here for a solo trip. 30 min from crested butte, 1 hr from black canyon and 2.5 hr from sand dunes and lots more. Great spot to rest and plenty adventure nearby
