Cottage vacation rentals in Missouri River

Great place to stay if you are visiting Chico and plan on going out to get food. This was a great mix of getting away, but close to town and attractions. Just a heads up there are quiet hours starting at 11pm and the house sits right next to the hosts house. This was not the hosts fault, we should’ve asked before booking. Fun place to stay!

I came into town to visit a good friend to celebrate our birthday’s together, and since it’s my first time in Minnesota I wanted a home away from home. We absolutely are grateful that Katie was open to hosting us. I look forward to visiting again and possibly staying here again. -Maria

Celebrated my anniversary here with my partner and it was amazing! Perfect size, private, and overall relaxing. Everything was within a 10 minute drive. The heated bathroom floor was amazing! The hot tub was the best part, and was super clean! Host was really nice and responded within minutes when I texted. Would definitely recommend or even rebook in the future! 10/10 stay!

Great stay with family at the cottage. Loved the location to downtown, very walkable. Cottage was perfect size for the 5 of us and in a quiet neighborhood. Kitchen was well stocked. Hot tub and sauna were great. And the surrounding area is beautiful. Would love to go back when the wildflowers are in bloom.

This place was close to downtown and easy to walk and from all the restaurants and bars with great shopping opportunities. The Regis Café next door is yummy!

We absolutely love The Place! This was our 4th stay and it just keeps getting better. We'd stay there much longer if our jobs and budget allowed. We always feel like we are at home and we're always sad to leave. We enjoyed the area restaurants and the ability to cook at "home". The kids love the "Party garage" and all the games and movies" as well as the spacious backyard. Thanks again for a great relaxing time, already counting down to next year! We love this family tradition of visiting ThePlace!!

Very cute little bungalow that is a perfect walking distance to Main Street, local shops and restaurants, and the Arkansas River trails. Location is great! It was just myself, my husband and small dog, and it was a good fit for us. House is definitely older, but most everything was in working condition. Would be very tight with two more people.

Great place. Stayed for the hunt and it was a great stay. Could use an antennae for local stations (football games) but that’s nothing to hold against this place. Was all that was promised.

It is such a cute little cottage located within walking distance to Main St. in BV. Krista did an excellent job communicating, and the pictures show a very accurate description of what to expect. We would love to stay there again next time we visit BV!

Such a cute cottage! Love the history around it. We were only driving through and stayed for the night, it was super cute and comfortable, just what we needed after a long day of driving!

This was our second stay at Katheryn’s cabin, and we will definitely keep returning! We love the peaceful and secluded location, the modern bathroom with radiant-heat floors, the wood stove in the cozy living room, and an excellent kitchen to cook meals in. (As a writer and avid reader, I also love all the books available in the house.) Everything was sparkling clean, and the stars put on quite a show on clear nights. Being just 10 mins outside Grand Marais is so convenient. This is my favorite Airbnb, by far.

The home was amazing, it was the cleanest place we have ever stayed in. Everything was easy to figure out, and the instructions were posted where needed. It was such a cozy home and a great getaway for the two of us. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Wonderful, peaceful cottage with access to a small private beach on Lake Superior. Great outdoors amenities including a charcoal grill and fire pit with wood provided.

Such a beautiful cabin with amazing views and is close to lots of fun outdoor activities. Everything was perfect for our family of 5. We wished we could have stayed longer, enjoyed the lake, and done some fishing, but we ran out of time. We would happily stay again! I would recommend it to anyone visiting Upper MI.
