Highly recommend staying with Cherie. Proactive and helpful communication. Beautiful apartment full of art, comfortable bed and seating, space to work, fully equipped kitchen, nice shower, laundry in the basement, and a very functional layout. Feels like a home rather than a generic Airbnb. Street is quiet and street parking is easy. Location is 2 blocks from Willy Street, which has grocery, shop and restaurant options. Stayed for a month, and grateful Cherie's flat was available.

Mark was a great host throughout our stay in Madison. His house was as described, and we settled in and felt comfortable and at home. He was very responsive to any needs or questions we had, and he provided some very interesting and useful recommendations about places in and around Madison. He lives in an upper unit in the same building that we got to know because he showed us around, but he was laid back and non-intrusive. The place has a classic style but with modern features that we liked. We found most of what we needed in his house and some other stuff Mark offered to give us for my son to use throughout our stay, like musical instruments. He even let us use his car to go on trips out of town! If we ever return, we'll be definitely staying at his lovely place!
