Alix was a fabulous, friendly host who does everything possible to ensure guests enjoy their stay. She gave us lots of advice about what to find in the surrounding areas re walks and restaurants. The apartment was super clean, cosy, quiet and had all the essentials we needed. The surrounding gardens were perfect for our dog. Would definitely love to stay again and would highly recommend.

A very peaceful and tranquil place to stay overlooking open countryside. Beautiful walks from the doorstep. Well equipped kitchen with a great selection of books and DVDs for a quiet evening in. plenty of tea/coffee/milk etc and lovely clean towels and bedding. Great resource of things to do with maps on your doorstep and a-joining villages. The accommodation was spotless and very comfortable. Laurie and Lucy are very friendly. Highly recommended

Katie and Matt’s place is absolutely wonderful if you’re looking for a tranquil spot to get a bit of peace and quiet. The setting is beautiful, great for walking, and Katie and Matt have created a great space with everything you’ll need. I had a great stay, communication was easy as was access. Thoroughly recommended and I’ll hope to stay again soon.

The barn has been lovingly restored with a lot of care taken with details to ensure it is a comfortable, welcoming and enjoyable stay. Loved the copper bath and walk-in shower! Place was spotlessly clean, kitchen had all implements needed to cook and log fire made it very cosy. There is an information pack which was very useful. We loved the place to sit at the end of the garden watching the sheep and chickens across the stream, the chairs were comfy too! Absolutely loved this place and would stay here again, I felt so relaxed after a few days there!! Thank you Caroline for paying so much attention to the details to make it a wonderful stay.
