North Pole Christmas Michigan Lodge

WhitneyRating, 5 stars6 months ago
What a perfect getaway for our family! The home is beautiful and we loved being able to sit on the balcony to drink coffee on the crisp fall mornings. There was plenty of wood for bonfires with ample outdoor seating. The fully stocked kitchen allowed our family to continue to enjoy homecooked meals while on vacation. We would love to stay here again when back in the area. The private secluded property judt adds to the experience. By the way, the prproperty is gorgeous in the fall. 10/10 recommend.

Deluxe Lakeside Cottage #5, Private Hot Tub & Dock

ValentinaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
In general, I really liked everything 🄹 The hot tub is just great šŸ˜ Everything is clean and tidy, Jacqueline was very quick and clear in responding to messages. We had a problem with a tree falling on the road and no access to the house, but George fixed it literally 5 minutes after I messaged him. The only thing that was a bit of a disadvantage was the condition of the kitchen, in my opinion, it needs a little repair. But in general, this did not interfere with our vacation, so we were satisfied and I can confidently recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to be alone with nature. This place is really worth a visit!😊

Lots of traffic noise at this place but I think the hot tub makes up for it! It is in a great location to drive to the Pictured Rocks lakeshore and explore things in the way there. Super comfortable and the shower is awesome!

We found the apartment to be just as described. It's in a lovely, quiet and central area. We could walk to downtown shops and restaurants. There was plenty of space for the four of us. The beds and bedding were comfortable and there was plenty of heat and hot water for our needs. Great place in Marquette.

I have so many positive things to say about this home. Barbara is a fantastic host, her son is helpful and friendly. The home, pond, gazebo and acreage are amazing. Lots of trails just behind the cabin, connecting to state forest trails. This is our second time staying at Barbs place and will totally return in the future.

Upfront House -Walking Distance to everything!

GinnieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The house was great for our family, two adults and 3 teens, for a long weekend. It was helpful to have the extra space on the back porch to store our skis and would be great if we come back with our bikes in the future. The location was walkable to shops, restaurants and a short drive to NMU campus and downtown. We appreciated the local coffee and Trenary Toast provided. We also greatly appreciate the time and care that was taken to clear the driveway of snow from a blizzard that passed through before our arrival!

Cozy home near campus

BrittneyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Sydney was very accommodating and was able to let us check in early last minute due to some travel concerns with the weather. Our daughters played softball at the dome and the location was wonderful! The kitchen had tons of space! There was also even a pack n play in one of the closets, which I was thankful for after forgetting my daughters at home!

River Front Log Cabin

AprilRating, 5 stars8 months ago
This place was amazing! My three boys, husband, and dog had such a great peaceful time. There were plenty of things to do in the cabin alone! They have everything fully stocked, including tons of family games, VHS movies to take you back in time, and much more. We loved how peaceful everything was! My kids loved hunting for crawfish, swimming, and riding in the kayaks. It rained almost the entire time until the last night, but honestly, that made it even better and more peaceful. The host was very responsive when we had a little issue with our pup and was extremely helpful and I appreciated that so much. The only thing I would prepare people for is that of course being that secluded/ far out is it well water, which does have a ā€œscentā€ to it. Other than that everything was absolutely perfect!! Thanks so much for letting us use your home. We would 10000000% recommend.

Hewitt House in heart of Marquette

JenniferRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Hewitt St. house is very cute and very, very clean. It’s a little short on curb appeal but makes up for it inside, with plenty of room and simple but nice decor. Soap for the bath/shower would have been appreciated, but otherwise there were no complaints from the adults. We really enjoyed our stay. The house does make noises (like old houses do), which scared the kids, requiring a (successful) safety check to the kind of spooky basement. The best part was how wonderfully walkable the location is. Very handy to downtown and the university. A little take-out place called Sando’s was a half-mile trek and offered really tasty sandwiches and hot dogs.

Everything is just as described. Perfect place to disconnect from the world. Craig is an amazing host! I will definitely be returning next year. If you’re a fisherman, bring your gear. Plenty of pike in the lake but be advised entire lake is very shallow. Had good luck with a #4 Mepps-yellow/orange with a gold blade. Good cell service with Verizon. Dollar General just 5 miles away for any last minute needs. Thanks Craig!

Lake Cottage: Private with Sunset Views

JenniferRating, 5 stars3 months ago
The Lake Cottage was exactly as pictured - clean, nostaglic, modernized amentities and loads of vintage charge. We booked last minute for a New Years Eve hurrah with my husband and two children (ages 3 & 8), and my only regret is not staying longer. We snowboarded, ice-fished, played board games, did puzzles... and simply enjoyed our time together. It was restorative and the cottage is conducive to slowing down and savoring each moment. The property (albiet Winter) was spacious and felt private, tucked down the long(er) drive with a single neighbor in sight. Elizabeth, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful. 10/10, will probably book again!

Comfortable 1 room house with private lake access.

WilliamRating, 5 stars5 months ago
I stayed this past weekend for a funeral. And I’d come back! Granted, I’m from Kingsford so I know the area. But this place is a little jewel. They even had a fire pit, with pre cut wood. What a thoughtful amenity! The host was responsive/ property clean. Everything an Airbnb should be. Kudos! šŸ™ŒšŸ»šŸ‘šŸ» All said, a couple of minor small observations. -Dust the dining room chairs, especially the rails. (I inspected hotel rooms for 20+ yrs.). ā˜ŗļøšŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø -That sliding door didn’t instill confidence. -An electronic lock with a code would be awesome. -T-mobile internet. ($55 per mth). Hot spot works, but it’s a pain. Great job and appreciate your warm hospitality! Best, -B
