Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Marathon

The rental is located in a gated campsite that includes both houses and campers. The campground is quiet and has views of the ocean to watch the sunset. The rental has a lovely ground level with a large tv, grill, dining area, and outdoor furniture. The inside of the rental was extremely clean upon our arrival. Both beds were nice and comfy. The kitchen and bathrooms had all necessary items. We appreciate Claudia sharing her place in Key Largo for us and our pups.

We really liked the location. It was peaceful and private and a great neighborhood to walk around and to walk our dog. Yet, a short drive into Marathon for restaurants or any other needs. The house isn’t new but it was exactly as represented and it was perfect for us. Frank was very responsive. There were a couple of issues that he addressed immediately. It wasn’t his fault that because of the location, receiving repair parts can take some time. But Frank took care of our situations.

We will be back! We loved it! Clean, comfortable with lots of room. We loved being able to keep our boat behind the house and the trailer in the driveway. We loved walking around Keys Colony. The Cabana Club and Sparkys Restaurant were both within walking distance. The kitchen had every gadget you could imagine. The dining table was perfect for dinners and card playing. The beds were comfy. No allergies whatsoever! Thank you so much!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Keys 2 Joy. It's located right in Key Colony Beach with access to anything you need within a quick drive. The house was very clean, decorated nicely, owners communicated clear directions and entrance instructions, and everything we needed was provided. They even had some toys stowed away and my 2 small kids loved it. The layout of the house is different than expected with 2 entrances that come into bedrooms, but it wasn't an issue since we put the kids in the middle room. Kitchen had anything we needed, fridge had an ice maker, there's room for a boat, and even a few poles to fish off the dock. We had our dog with us also and they neighborhood is super walkable and friendly. Would stay here again for sure, thanks!

Jose was a very responsive host and we appreciated his communication. The house matches the description well and was very clean upon arrival. The location is off the main highway, which is great, but is across from the back of the post office distribution center so can be a little noisy at times. It is quite walkable to the grocery store and some restaurants/ shops. We also brought our 2 dogs (with permission of the owner) and the yard is very well set up for that as it is fully fenced in, except for the dock area.

This is a great find! The amazing outdoor area with the pool and tiki hut were perfect for the days we stayed in. We felt safe as we walked the neighborhood. Cleanest Airbnb we e ever stayed at! Would definitely go back!

Looks just like the photo’s. Unfortunately weather was a little chilly the first couple of days. When it warmed up we enjoyed the local cabana club with the heated pool, beach and restaurants. The accommodations were spacious and clean.

This home was simplistic, clean and a great peaceful location. The hot tub was a nice addition especially because we had cooler weather while we were here. I could make an espresso or regular drip coffee from the appliance provided. The shower was cutting-edge and beds were comfortable. I would recommend this house for anyone that comes to visit the keys.

This tiny home is just the sweetest. Modern, fully stocked kitchen and good water pressure in the bathroom. The star of the show is the exterior space - sitting on the deck watching manatees, turtles and fish was one of the highlights of our whole trip. The covered space has new outdoor furniture and parking is easy. Laundry is outdoors just down from the unit and coin operated so bring quarters if you need to do some. We didn’t use the pool but it’s small and clean. Groceries/food are about 15 min away so bring what you need. Such a nice, relaxing experience -quiet and peaceful! Thank you!!

the home was spotless. modern and up to date. Quiet area and street. includes access to a beach club down the street. restaurants and shops nearby. my wife enjoyed the fresh seafood. it's a 10

This was the perfect place to meet up for a Christmas gathering with our adult children. The home was so nicely decorated and furnished and had EVERYTHING we could have needed for a three day stay. There was plenty to do on the Venture Out Resort property and anything else you’d want or need is within driving distance. Will definitely stay here again!

Kristi was very responsive and helped us out with a request early on in the stay. It was really nice to be able to kayak along the water way and we utilized this daily. Overall the place was exactly as described and we enjoyed our time in Marathon.

Pelican Roost is a delightful retreat. From the moment you drive down the canopy driveway to the first step into the bay you feel relaxed. We had three generations and everyone enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming and snorkeling. The water is warm and calm. A manatee and nurse shark visited the dock, dolphins swam by. The huge sandy area was very comfortable with lots of lounge chairs, hammocks and shade. Plenty of room for frisbee, football and badminton. Lots of colorful lizards. Inside is clean, comfortable and easy to keep the temperature the way you want it. The huge screened in patio has billiards and ping pong and another comfortable area to relax. A huge wood deck is another benefit. Kitchen is large, well lit by natural light and had everything we needed. Bedrooms and bathroom are clean and comfortable. We did leave the property a few times but we all agreed the best part of the ten days was hanging out at Pelican Roost. Kelley was a perfect host

My family had a great time at Tims vacation home. The kids couldn't get enough fishing in the Canal. The house was the cleanest Airb&b I've ever stayed at! Tim does live/building house on the same property which I wasn't aware of, but it wasn't an issue at all! The house had alot of the things you need, already available, and all the neighbors were very friendly as well! Keep doing what your doing Tim, you have a great vacation spot! We would definitely stay again!

We had the perfect vacation! Love the location and the amenities of Key Colony Beach. The place was great for relaxing. I only wish we brought our dog..

Overall we enjoyed our time here. It can be hard to find from the road but has a rustic charm to it. Enjoyed kayaking and time in the tiki hut by the water.

This RV is absolutely gorgeous! Wonderful place to spend a vacation! So thoughtfully set up, absolutely everything we needed was there. Spotlessly clean. The outdoor seating and grilling area is just incredible - we enjoyed the lovely outdoor furniture and the huge grill. We loved walking to the pool area where we could climb up to a raised area with seating to watch the sun set. So relaxing. Also the great recommendations of places to go were very helpful. Best Air BnB we’ve ever stayed at.

Just want to write an updated review since most of these are older. The previous reviews about the house AC being hot in the downstairs bedrooms has been fixed. The house has two brand new AC units. House was immaculate and in the perfect location with all the amenities you’d need. Only issue we ran into is the Wi-Fi does not work. They are actively working on it but the Sonos speakers did not work outside and the TVs were in and out. All in all this house had everything we needed and more

I’d like to start this review with JoAn is amazing and super responsive. If you need anything, she will ensure that you will get it. This house is the epitome of what you would expect for a Florida keys home. If you’re looking for a house with a lot of character, in a phenomenal location for Atlantic access and fuel, this is the place. We throughly enjoyed our time staying here and will be back next year. The pool was nice to get into after diving every day, there was a fresh water hose on the dock, a freshwater outside shower and even a fish cleaning station. There is a deep freezer for ice and a tiki bar outside with a sink. Couldn’t be any happier with the house or the host. Thanks again JoAn for letting us use your house.

Excellent location in town. Nice clean home on a beautiful canal. Good for fishing. Recommend more toilet paper and front door is very hard to lock.
