Vacation rentals with lake access in Marathon

We spent an amazing week in the house of Kelly and Shane. The location on the waterfront is unbeatable and the house itself is super convenient, nicely remodeled and has a very cozy feel to it. We spent days in a row fishing from the dock, prepared our catch of the day on the bbq on the terrace, and caught shrimp at night which served as bait for the next day. There are great beaches, restaurants, and all kinds of day trips at hand if you wish to leave the property ;). Kelly and Shane are great hosts, with tons of tips - they clearly love the area and put great effort in the maintenance of the house and dock. They are super quick and easy in their communication and all three of us (me, husband and our 12 year old son) look forward to staying at their property again!

We loved staying at this home in Marathon. My family of 5 (three young kids; 9, 6 & 1) plus 4 other adults all stayed here comfortably and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We all felt right at home! The home was spotless and kept very clean. The location was great and we LOVED the backyard with everything it offered. The kids especially loved the yard. There are numerous marinas right by the home, which made renting a boat very convenient. Highly recommend doing so! We loved having the extra amenities like the kayak and paddle boards as well! Whenever I needed to get in touch with the host Carmen, she was very communicative and responded right away. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend! Thank you again!

Victor was a lifesaver! When we couldn't get out of the Keys because wildfires had Highway 1 closed down, and there was not a single hotel room left in Key West, I quickly got on airbnb and found this lovely condo had a cancelation for the night. Victor responded very quickly and helped us get checked in for a very comfortable night after a 12-hour day of sitting on the highway in hopes of reaching Miami for our flight. This lovely condo offered us much-needed respite -- we were afraid we were facing hours of driving further back down the Keys only to find no rooms available. I wish we could have hung around and enjoyed more of the lovely grounds at this place!

We took our two small children on vacation here. It was such a perfect sized unit for our small family. There were beach towels, pool & beach toys for our kids, a scooter, etc. having the pool steps away was also so nice to have as an easy, close-by activity! Very very safe & friendly “neighbors”. They also had a pack n play. The only thing we wish they had was a highchair (kind of tricky with a 1 year old at a high top bar stool seating). But we knew that going into it! With it being a gated community, it felt very quiet and we often took strolls with the kids around the area and watched the sunset from the public patio by the water. There were grills to use, an outdoor shuffle board, & lots of fun local places to check out and/or eat at. We drove to key west a few days, which was just over an hour. Again, such a great location to be away from the hustle & bustle, but still be able to explore and check out all the neighboring keys as well. Benjamin was so helpful with any questions

This spot was great! The home is spacious, incredibly comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. It’s located at the very end of an inlet, offering a waterfront setting but I wouldn't call it picturesque. While we didn’t have a boat, it looked like getting one in and out would be easy for an experienced boater. The house was spotless—you can tell a lot of care goes into keeping it clean. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, with soft sheets that made for a great night’s sleep. Everything related to rest and relaxation was truly top-notch. The home is well-stocked with basic necessities for living, though if you have specific cooking preferences or comfort items, you should make a quick trip to the store. The neighborhood is very quiet, with the exception of some occasional noise from the nearby airport—but that’s just part of being in Marathon. Parking was easy, the pool was great, and everything matched the description perfectly. We highly recommend

This Air BnB has many positive highlights! It is a beautiful home with everything you would need for a vacation house. The house is located in a great spot to get to many different food areas and activities! We had the best view of ocean. From the moment I booked Nick was very helpful for everything we needed, he was incredibly responsive! Thank you for making this trip memorable!

This place was perfect for our group. It was affordable and offered what we needed. The games downstairs and access to the little pier and water were a great bonus. The downstairs kitchen was nice. It would’ve been even better with a washer and dryer, but we totally made it work. Thanks for welcoming our group!! It was an amazing stay!!

Very nice place, we enjoyed the pool and feeding fish in the lagoon. Didn’t try using the golf cart. The rental was clean and spacious,

It's our third time staying here and we always feel very good at home. We prefer to arrive on weekdays and leave on weekdays because we can enter and leave with the boat at no cost , Saturday and Sunday for only entering to put the boat to the sea is $40, very close to Harry Harris park. The house has everything you may need. Thank you once again.

Located in a quiet and convenient section of a beautiful resort. The unit was a perfect fit with two screened in patios overlooking a lagoon. We loved that the bedrooms were upstairs so that no one's sleep was disturbed. Phil had bikes, beach chairs, kayaks, pool noodles, etc. for us to use and he checked in every day to make sure we were enjoying our stay. We come to Key Largo often and will definitely check for availability here again!!

We had a great time! The condo was in a perfect spot in the complex - right by the pool and lagoon, super easy to get in and out. We love the Florida Keys! This was our first time staying in Key Largo! We normally stay a bit more south … but we loved this area - lots to do! Patricia was responsive and had lots of supplies to help us conveniently with laundry and showers! Beds were incredibly comfy! And we had 3 kiddos, so the 3 different bed options were perfect! We would definitely stay again!

The place was exactly as pictured over looking the marina. The fire pits water side were very nice. The property is very walkable for morning and evening walks. Hot water was a problem when we arrived, limited hot water in kitchen And bathrooms. Maintenance came and turned water temp up. Golf cart did not work upon arrival. We were given a different cart the day before we were to leave, so used it once. I would think if carts are offered and paying for them within the nightly fee, they should make sure they work. The place is a good home base. Angela was very responsive to problems .Thank you for that. Yes, I would stay again and enjoy the pools !
