Enjoy access to a network of paved trails that lead from the river to the beach and right up to the back door of the home. Relax on the deck and watch deer wander by. Prepare your meals in a fully stocked kitchen, or partake of many of the excellent local eateries nearby. The Break in Pacific City is ready for your stay. The Break is a two bedroom, two bath cabin-like home perfect for your beach get-away or surfing excursion. Enjoy a large living room with leather sofas opening up to a large wrap around deck and a back yard with fire pit. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, high-quality linens and bedding, unique design and furnishings through out. You have multiple points to access the beach, all a short walk away (the closest is 5 min). The Pelican brewery is a easily walkable (<15 min). All are accessible via a paved trail systems that backs right up to the property. You are also just steps away to the river with fishing and boarding available. Master bedroom on the main floor has a comfy king-sized bed, and built in charging cables for your smart-phones. Second bedroom on the upper floor has a comfy queen, and two twin beds, and built in USB ports for your smartphones. The loft overlooking the main living area is equipped with a TV area (with Apple TV, Wii, Blu-ray player) for relaxing and enjoying a movie. The loft also has a cozy reading area, and a comfy full-sized futon and bedding for an additional sleeping area if needed. You'll have full access to the entire property We are just a text away to answer questions, give recommendations, anything our guests need. We are committed to you enjoying your stay at The Break. Set in the small beach side town of Pacific City, the house is a short walk from the beach, Pelican Brewery, coffee houses, restaurants, and charming shops. Enjoy surfing scenic Cape Kiwanda (one of the best surfing spots on the Oregon coast), stand-up paddle boarding in the bay, ATV riding in Sand Lake, or any number of coastal attractions from Tillamook and Oceanside to Newport Bay. At the end of the day, enjoy a pint at Pelican or just around the firepit in the backyard. Everything is walkable in Pacific City, and there is no public transportation. There's a lot of local wildlife, and deer are plentiful in the area so just be on the look out - while driving and while sitting on the deck.

Joanne’s beach house is truly an Airbnb, not just a vacation rental. This is one of those houses where you immediately feel at home and comfortable in and everything you could possibly need is there. The view is lovely and location is convenient but what makes this place truly special is the host. Joanne was extremely kind and friendly. We felt genuinely cared for during our stay. Our family of four along with our dog Charlie made so many great memories here. We love Manzanita area and this was a great base. Easy walk to beach and to town from the beach. We all slept soundly and made good use of the pool table, DVD collection and the fireplace. I loved having my morning coffee on the deck and taking in the birdsong. We cooked many meals and had all we needed in the kitchen. Joanne spoiled us with local coffee and chocolate as well. We will definitely be back!

If you are looking for a place to stay along the Oregon Coast- this is it! Breathtaking view of Oceanside Beach and located such that you are short drives from all the Tillamook area has to offer-scenic drives, the Three Capes, fantastic hiking, and don't miss Tunnel Beach (at low tide) one mile away! Beds were comfy, super clean and a well stocked kitchen (extra points for that!) Make sure you read Chrystie's description about the hike to the beach-it is a hike- but we loved it! Grateful for a great weekend with friends at Captains Quarters.

Beth’s place is such a great place to stay. This was our second time here for our annual girls trip and we just love it ! Very clean ! The beds are amazingly comfortable! . The kitchen is well stocked and good restaurants that are close. Also , walking distance to shopping and the beach ! You won’t be disappointed by staying here . 😊😊

It was a great place to stay. We really enjoyed the view of the back porch. Sitting outside around the fire feature was great. We were by ourselves but I could definitely see this as a great place to bring some friends to hang out for the weekend. There were a lot of kids about enjoying the outdoors but the units are well insulated and quiet inside.

We had a wonderful weekend stay with 8 of us. The home is in a quiet neighborhood a few blocks away from the beach and town. Easily walkable to restaurants and grocery store. The beds were comfortable, showers had great water pressure, and the home was clean and spacious. The hot tub and fire pit were really nice to have in the backyard. Would recommend for a stay in Pacific City!

We had a wonderful weekend at this home! It was a great set up for families. Lots of open space downstairs and upstairs. We enjoyed the hot tub and the walking trail right behind the house. It was so clean and the hosts were very responsive and friendly. We enjoyed walking to the Pelican brewery for dinner and Stimulus coffee house each morning for coffee and both were excellent. We would love to stay again!

Shacktown House was the perfect getaway for our family! We loved how close it was to both the beach and town—just a short walk to everything we needed. We spent two nights in this wonderful home in Seaside and absolutely loved it! The house is clean, cozy, and filled with love and care for its guests. It’s perfect for families with children — everything you might need is thoughtfully provided, from a crib for little ones to a fantastic game room in the garage. The hot tub was clean and well-maintained, always at the perfect temperature. We also used the grill, and everything worked perfectly. We truly felt at home here. I highly recommend this place, and if we ever come back to Seaside, we would definitely stay here again!

Pristine condition and cute place. Extremely quiet town (maybe because it was off season) but quite limited in places to eat nearby (this has nothing of course to do with host place). I would pack some groceries and plan to cook some meals in the well appointed kitchen. Otherwise, this was a very quiet and peaceful stay with a very lovely, beautiful, and clean home.

My family and I booked this spot for an annual grief retreat to celebrate our late daughter's 5th birthday. Our entire group (6 separate families) enjoyed this home. The kids enjoyed the games and toys, the single people enjoyed the firepit and hot tub, and the parents enjoyed how well stocked this home was. Everything you'd need was in place! Not to mention the quick walk to the beautiful beach. Best part by far. Thank you for providing such a great experience!
