House vacation rentals in Manteo

We loved that we were able to walk to the beach and to the bay. Also loved the beach parking pass to give us the option to drive to the beach. We used the beach chairs, boogie boards and bicycles and all of them were fantastic! Very comfortable house, felt right at home there. Perfect house for a family to use. Also very helpful that Target, Publix and tons of restaurants were very close.

I spent a weekend at this rental with my husband and 2 kids (5, 3yrs old). It was absolutely better than expected. The home was clean and well stocked. I’ve stayed at many other rentals in OBX through various platforms and this has been my favorite one yet. The house was super clean and nicely updated. The furniture was comfortable and practical. The dining chairs were easily wiped clean which was nice especially traveling with little kids. I wasn’t expecting to use the Colington Harbour amenities, but that ended up being a big hit with the family. It was really nice hitting up the pool in the evening after spending the entire morning at the beach. The kids loved watching the boats come in. The host Dana also was very responsive. If it’s available for our next OBX trip then we will for sure be back!

We loved our stay at Bruce’s! Karin was great and helped us with all of our needs. The place was the perfect size for our two families with two toddlers and two babies. Plenty of space for the kids to play. The location was a 3 minute drive to Jockey’s Ridge and the Sand Dunes, and a three minute drive to beach access. It was close to everything we wanted to do and we enjoyed our stay!

Our family had a great vacation. The house was beautiful with plenty of rooms and bathrooms for all of us!! The house is private but very close to the beach, dunes, restaurants and shops. Would definitely love to visit again!

Staying at Harry's place was perfect for us. I was blown away by the cleanliness of the house. The location is beautiful and was a central location for things to do. There are many restaurants nearby. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything that we needed. I can't say enough about how great our experience was. Thank you Harry!

Our stay was wonderful! Jenna’s place was extremely clean and in the perfect location. We drove to the beach everyday and never had a problem getting a parking spot at the public beach access. The kitchen also had everything we needed for cooking which was an added plus. Would definitely stay again!

Great place. For its size and value, it literally has a ton of great features . The theatre room is amazing, especially with having kids. Has a beach volleyball court! The arcade has thousands of games and brought me back 25 years (Pac-Man, Mario, Galaga, Street Fighter, and 1,000’s more). We went when it typically would not be considered swimming weather, however, we had the option to have the pool heated at least a day or so before arriving and it made a huge difference and allowed for my girls and I to swim in early April (and I did jump in the ocean to compare and it was a 25-30 degree difference! Lol). The owner is very quick to respond, has the instructions available prior to arrival, recommendations for food, churches, , and activities. If you don’t mind a 3-5 minute stroll to the beach, it is honestly not that far away. Walmart, Target, Grocery stores, putt putt, dunes, Wings, fishing pier, are very close by. The aquarium was a 20 min drive but was worth it. Fun experience.

This place was perfect! The space was spotless, stylish, and exactly as pictured—maybe even better. Check-in was seamless, and the host went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome, even leaving a few thoughtful extras that made a big difference. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, with great restaurants and shops nearby. The bed was super comfortable, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing, hassle-free stay. We honestly didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area!

Andy's place was quiet and peaceful. Close to all Manteo offers and just a short drive over the bridge to Nags Head restaurants and shopping. Beds were comfortable and house was clean. Everything you need to cook was supplied. Nice big private yard (not fenced). We enjoyed our stay and it fit our needs perfectly.

This was our second year staying at the Downwinder and once again it was extremely enjoyable! The oceanfront views from the deck and big windows just can't be beat. This house has a great open concept living with unobstructed views of the ocean from the entire main living space and master bedroom. The house is modern and updated, inside and out. We love the deck walkway right from the house, over the dunes and right down to the beach. The shower and foot rinsing faucet at the end of the walkway is super convenient. Absolutely perfect for our family of four! Falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves is pure serenity. Do yourself a favor and book this home for your next vacation...you won't regret it!

It’s one of the best places I have stayed. The place is clean, big and peaceful.

I’ll review based on importance to me- First-very clean Second-very comfortable king size bed. My husband and I both slept great during g our stay Third-very conviene to beach. Easy walk to beach. I would highly recommend Amy’s place. I would suggest bringing a dish cloth and towel to help with dish cleanup. We bought a couple at the grocery store. Otherwise, nothing to add to Amy’s description. It met all of our needs and we had a fantastic stay.

I had an amazing stay at RUM-D.C.A! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and located in a quiet neighborhood just s seconds from the beach. The bed was super comfortable, and I appreciated the extra touches and fast Wi-Fi. Dan was very responsive and made check-in a breeze. Highly recommend this Airbnb – I’d absolutely stay here again!

Kathryn’s home is beautifully designed with the comfort of her guests a priority. It’s clean, spacious, comfortably furnished with many amenities, in a great location, and offers lots of “front porch sittin’.” Kathryn was very responsive, and I would be happy to rent from her again.

We loved our stay in Tranquility. The house was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was in a lovely quiet neighbourhood and conveniently located for all the places we wanted to visit. Robin was great to deal with. Would stay here again and would recommend.

We had a great time at Denise’s place. We had a wedding to visit 8 min away and this place served as a fantastic home base. Typically, if I wanted to cook, for example, I’d have to go out and get all the cooking oil, seasonings, etc. This was not an issue here. If we needed something, it was usually there. This was an attention to detail I don’t normally see in AirBnBs.

This was such a wonderful experience! The house was beautiful and spacious, and the host is so generous and thoughtful 😊 so thankful for all accommodations and a very helpful/resourceful host. There's a reason why this place stays booked!! If you're looking for a special vacation, this is the one! I'd love to come back next year ❤️

The place was pristine, one of the cleanest Air B&B’s I’ve ever stayed in. Pictures are exactly like the listing. Fully stocked kitchen and appliances. 1/2 mile from the beach which was easily accessible with easy parking. You could walk/ride bikes, but we have small kids so we drove. Close to shopping and multiple restaurants. Monika was very responsive to anything we needed in a timely fashion and offered awesome recommendations for local spots/restaurants. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting OBX!

Absolutely perfect place to vacation, everything from eating out at local restaurants, to walking down local streets, and of course walking down the beach. The house was great, cozy and clean and in a great area. Overall was a fantastic place and definitely worth coming back to.

This was by far the coziest and most stylish condo we have seen to date. The color schemes and choices of furniture down to the wall decorations and lighting were beautiful. Our 5lbs Yorkie was truly comfortable in this unit. And by no means is this a fault of the owners but the building itself was just built to hear anyone’s footsteps. Not loud talking or obnoxious guests. Just the pounding felt. Bring a noise maker and it’s perfect. I would definitely stay again!

Was a perfect place to stay for a wholesome Memorial Day girls weekend! We will definitely be coming back here and thank you Jay for helping us figure out the grill :)!

Great place to stay at the Outer Banks! Not far from many beach accesses and great restaurants.

Areca was super friendly and helpful. The location is perfect -- quiet and relaxing, and a great launching point to many of the OBX sites and activities in the nearby area. You'll love this place!

Clean, quiet, comfortable and inviting. The kitchen was fully stocked with all cookware, utensils and appliances needed for onsite prepping and cooking. The outdoor areas were clean, clutter free and peaceful to relax in. And the beach related supplies available for guest use like toys, chairs and bikes where fantastic! The location is great for a couples get away or a small family vacation.
