Endless Beach #unitA-3bedrooms-steps to the ocean
Highly recommend this stay. Beds are very comfortable and everything was very very clean. SO close to the beach and not having to pack beach chairs, umbrella etc was a plus! Host responded quickly to inquiries. Nick was outstanding! My only regret was not being able to stay longer.

Virginia Beach 2 King BR apt 100 feet from beach
Traci and Kurt were fantastic hosts! Their home was absolutely lovely—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. We especially enjoyed our time at the beach, which was a perfect getaway. Everything about our stay was wonderful, and we would definitely love to come back. Highly recommend!

Family Friendly Condo just 3 blocks to the beach!
The condo was exactly as described. Great location. Would definitely stay again. Chris and Abby were great at responding to all our questions.

Oceanfront Penthouse
We enjoyed our family vacation very much. We booked with Debbie two years ago, and we had to book again. We plan to return to Debbie’s place in the future! The balcony is so beautiful with a great view of the beach sunrise.

Cozy North End Cottage 1 block from the sand!
We loved staying in the little yellow house on the beach 💛 we had everything we needed and loved the clean, calm, vintage beach vibe of the home. The beach is so close we walked back and forth multiple times. We will definitely be back to stay again!!

Chicks Beachfront
The location is fantastic- right on the water. We also loved the pet-friendly policy. The home is what you can expect from a beach house, very simple and has a lived-in feel. If you’re looking for luxury, this is not the place for you. The hosts were very responsive to messages and answered questions about the property promptly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here!

The Beach Nest. Walk to oceanfront.
How lucky my wife and I were to find the Beach Nest in Virginia Beach. The location is beautifully appointed and perfect for a couple looking to be near the beach, restaurants and all that the strip has to offer. The attention to detail with the accommodations was second to none. A 5 star experience. Ted and Lori were such a nice couple and provided us ample information for entertainment and dining in the area. Highly recommended.

Oceanfront Views! 2 BR, 2 BATH!
A great place to stay for a girls trip to the beach. It’s right on the boardwalk and easily able to walk to several restaurants and shops. It’s so clean, and has a great aesthetic. My favorite part was the views of the beach from the living room and bedroom. The hosts are super friendly & always respond quickly! ☺️

3 bedroom private home a block from the beach!
A charming beach cottage about 3 minute walk from the beach. The home has everything needed for a pleasant stay.

Fully Furnished Home in Hampton 5mins from H Uni
The home was great for our small group of friends, and made getting to and from the local university and downtown area very convenient. There is ample space for parking in the backyard, front and side. Area has supermarket and other convenience stores very easily accessible. Although it was just a small girls trip, I can also see how this home would work for those with young kids, as it provides comforts for smaller ones such as a highchair for eating and stair safety devices. I will look into staying here with my young ones in the future, as I know the home has those comforts and safety tools here. When in the area, I will definitely stay there again!

3 bedroom home minutes from Buckroe Beach
Had a great time staying at Lisa's home. The place was a very beautiful home and a peaceful neighborhood. Spacious living area as well as the bathrooms and rooms.

The Captains Cottage KAYAK/FISH on Elizabeth River
This cottage is hands down the best AirBnB in the entire Norfolk/Portsmouth area. Great location, great cottage and an awesome host! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Chesapeake Bay Beach house (Chic’s Beach) 1 block!
This place was perfect for the kids and parents and grandparents. We enjoyed our stay here walking distance to the beach was perfection. It was so peaceful, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the downstairs yard & patio area. We didn’t get to use the bbq grill but next time we stay here we will. Beautiful home. Thank you

Family, Friends, and Fun 3 Bdrm Beach Bungalow
The house was great and met our needs. We unexpectedly needed to extend our stay at the last minute and they were very accommodating.

Relax! Refreshing 3 bedroom Rancher
Our stay was very nice. The home is in a quiet neighborhood and the house smelled amazing when we walked through the door. The keyless lock was very convenient, considering we arrived in the middle of the night. It had everything we needed for our stay. Thank you!

Good Vibes VB
We had 4 teenage boys and 4 adults for the high school nationals wrestling tournament and this was an amazing location between the venue and the beach. Easily walkable to everything. It had everything we needed including a washer and dryer. William was so kind and helpful every step of the way and we would definitely love to come back to this house in the future!

Immaculate Oceanside Home + Rooftop Deck!!!
Perfect place for 4-6 people. Really nice house and perfect location for us. I would 100% stay there again! Th house was clean and well appointed. Instructions were so clear that we didn’t even need to communicate much with Gus, but leading up to the stay he was very responsive and helpful! Great getaway!!

Quiet East Beach Bungalow, 1 block to beach!
For the two days I stayed I enjoyed my time! The beach house was beautiful, extremely clean, and most importantly not that far from the beach. Communication with Scorno was extremely easy. He would answer my questions in a matter of minutes which made it easier to check in and check out! I would absolutely stay at this house again!

Family hideaway
Tammy's place was perfect for our family visit to VB. The toys, the yard, the kitchen, and the overall cozy vibes were great. Easily walkable to the beach or nearby shops. Highly recommend.

*Oceanview Oasis- Walk to the Beach! Big Game Room
The house was just like the pictures. The beach was just down the street from the house, which my family loved. It was also not far from any of the places we visited. I would recommend Mikes place as a wonderful and beautiful place to stay.

The Memory Maker at Old Beach
This place was absolutely perfect for our family trip for the Shamrock marathon weekend. The location would be excellent as well during any time of year. We didn’t need to stress or pay for event parking. Just a 10 minute walk to the 8k start. The whole area was a clean cute community. The beds were very comfortable too. Everyone found the perfect room right away. The master shower was AMAZING. Beautiful and excellent water pressure. Kitchen was well stocked. I got to try out a pressure cooker for our Irish stew for the first time. Looking forward to our next stay already.

The Magnificent Meadowlark!
I highly recommend staying here; only 2.5 blocks from the beach and close to local attractions (First Landing State Park, Amusement Park, Arcade, and Pier). The location was great and the home was wonderful with parking in the back and large grass yard to grill and run around in. Cherry on top was the complimentary beach chairs, sand toys, and outdoor shower to use after a day out! Seamless check in/out process and delightful stay!

Your guide to Norfolk
All About Norfolk
Sitting at the confluence of the Chesapeake Bay, the Elizabeth River, and the Atlantic Ocean, Norfolk is a midsize Virginia city with a long maritime history and a thriving art and cultural scene. It would take you several days to make your way through the town’s museums and galleries, not to mention the studios where you can meet local artists and learn about their work. Kids and adults alike are welcome at the interactive theaters and the hands-on exhibits at the Battleship Wisconsin at Nauticus, which acquaint visitors with Norfolk’s seafaring past.
The city offers plenty of green space, including the Pagoda and Oriental Garden and the Norfolk Botanical Garden, Virginia’s largest collection of living plants. The lively Waterside District offers many dining options, and you’ll find a vibrant, rotating roster of pop-up stores and locally owned restaurants at Selden Market.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Norfolk
Given its location at the southern mouth of Chesapeake Bay, Norfolk’s temperate, four-season climate is protected from extreme temperatures. Spring and fall have the most comfortable weather for spending time outdoors, while summer brings high temperatures, high humidity, and frequent thunderstorms. Winter temperatures can hit the freezing mark, sometimes with winds but usually with little snow. But if it’s too hot or too cold, the city’s museums and galleries always offer refuge. The warmer weather from May to October means it’s time to head to the beach or enjoy one of the city’s many festivals. In June, visitors flock to Norfolk for its famous three-day maritime festival featuring tall ships, a parade of sails, and a grand fireworks display over the harbor.

The Chrysler Museum, just north of the Waterside District near the center of town, boasts more than 30,000 artifacts spanning more than 5,000 years. The American and European painting collections and the Middle Age sculptures are a significant focus, as are Chrysler’s collection of glass art, its glass-blowing museum, and glass-blowing demonstrations.
Battleship Wisconsin at Nauticus
Nauticus is a maritime-themed museum located at the Norfolk waterfront. In addition to indoor exhibits in the main building, Nauticus is home to USS Wisconsin, one of the largest and last battleships built by the US Navy that served in World War II, Korea, and in Operation Desert Storm in 1991 before finally being decommissioned. You can visit this piece of history on your own or on a guided tour.
Norfolk Botanical Garden
This botanical garden spans 175 acres and is on the National Register of Historic Places. It features more than 50 themed gardens, including a rose garden, a native plant garden, and a three-acre children’s garden. The grounds lie just 20 minutes from downtown and feature 12 miles of paved trails. Pelicans, eagles, and kestrels all find shelter here, as do 30 species of butterflies. From March to October, you can take a tram through the garden; at certain times of the year, a boat is also available to let you observe the park from its winding canals.
