Vacation rentals with lake access in Maidstone District

Tim was a lovely host, very responsive and made me feel at ease and ready for our weekend in Rye. It’s a great house, a perfect size for us as 2 adults, 2 children + dog. There are lots of games and books provided and there’s a nice big park opposite with a playground. We particularly enjoyed the cat cafe which is just at the end of the street. And everything is in walking distance. A great location. We had a wonderful time.

Marta’s home was a beautiful as advertised. Modern, chic, and right in the middle of the history of rye.

Kevin's place was as described and conveniently located. The bedrooms with ensuite were a plus. Kevin responded to any queries promptly. Will definitely stay there again.

A superb home with character, design features, and so thoughtfully laid out. I knew that the location was about rest, relaxation and peace but the physical location of the house with direct access to the sand dunes and the beach was epic. My partner and I took out three dogs with us and it was the exact medicine needed for complete rest, relaxation and was an oasis of calm. The sunrises and sunsets were stunning. Sophia was an impeccable host and I could not have asked for me. I have never wanted to book the same place twice but.... I will be booking again.

Amazing home, would definitely stay again. clean tidy and perfect. 30 second walk to the nearest sand dune, or 2 minute walk to the main car park/straight onto the beach. local bars/pubs and shops. very near Rye town. Highly recommended

We booked to stay here as part of our wedding, we’re fairly local but wanted to stay apart the night before the wedding. The accommodation was perfect, lots of space and bright airy rooms. Bernadette went above and beyond and provided us with some tailored gifts and treats, she even carried the back of my dress to the car on our wedding day. I would definitely stay here again and will be recommending to others. Thank you again for being a part of our wedding which was absolutely perfect in every way ☺️

Clean spacious bungalow in great quiet location very close to beach but tucked away from road. Accommodation is very well equipped and beds were comfortable. Easy parking and also enclosed private garden perfect for a dog. Would highly recommend for a relaxed comfortable stay in a unique part of the country. The fish shack at Dungeness is worth a visit.

Our stay at Dominique and Muhammad’s AirBnB was Fantastic! Muhammad is a Great communicator and Very helpful and friendly! When he met us at the building, Muhammad was very kind and gracious! The AirBnB itself is Beautiful, well appointed and Very comfortable! The deck provides a wonderfully peaceful lounging location at the end of the day! This AirBnB is ideally located near Vauxhall for easy access to Tube, Bus, and River transportation. Even still, the AirBnB is on the Thames side of the building and is exceptionally quiet and comfortable! The Tesco on the bottom commercial floor is particularly convenient, and the restaurants there on the Thames are Very enjoyable!! We definitely recommend Muhammad and this AirBnB and look forward to coming back!

Great location, great local shops and places to eat. Close to the train station, highly accessible. Really homey places, great decor and good communication with host throughout our stay. Would stay here again 😁

Everything was perfect

We had an amazing stay in the loveley flat by Yemi! He is very kind and really cares about his guests. Espacially the view from the balcony is amazing from 15th floor. The flat looks exactly as shown.

Absolutely beautiful place it’s that good we have booked it again in August highly recommended this studio apartment it’s got a nice view of the marina two separate bathrooms nice size kitchen and it’s quiet. Very clean and it’s got everything you require local to a few restaurants and pubs and a supermarket a five minute walk and a bus stop a 2 minute walk a 10 minute walk and your at a cinema , mark and Vicky and all the staff are amazing clear instructions of how to get there and couldn’t do enough to help with any any hesitation 5star service

Our family had a wonderful few days at the gorgeous Oast House property. Stunning setting with views across the fields. Local walks were great and maps available, along with local attractions all close by. Heather prepared an amazing meal for us which was well worth the money and the property had everything we needed for a peaceful and enjoyable few days away from the big smoke. The guest book in the property says it all about what a fantastic place this is. Highly recommend and look forward to returning soon.

We had the most wonderful stay at Coes farm. The cottage itself is lovely, really cosy with all the amenities you need for a relaxing break. The setting is truly glorious, incredibly peaceful and beautiful. The farm itself is great with lovely walks and fantastic amenities. Having the use of the amazing pool and hot tub made our whole stay even more luxurious. Martin & Jess were so helpful and responsive, providing us with extra tea bags and milk when we ran out. Can’t recommend enough. Thank you so much

Great few days staying here. Lots of nice touches (milk in the fridge for our arrival, high chair and cot for our baby etc., basics in the cupboards like salt and oil) and Jo was really easy to communicate with. The house is very comfortable and we really enjoyed staying there.

If you are looking for a quiet, homey cottage look no further. Richard is very straight forward about this being his primary home. There are items in the fridge, freezer, and limited closet space. It is lived in and that’s one of the reasons I choose it. I felt like I was visiting family. My eyes never got tired of looking at all the decor. If you are traveling without a car don’t bother with Uber, call a taxi. Nice cafe a short walk down Church street, walking paths behind the cottage. It’s exactly what we needed.

I had a lovely stay in this very beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean house. Beautiful views over the marshes- a bit foggy on my visit. Very private and quiet and ideally placed for a walk on the beach. The house is very spacious, comfortable and well appointed: the children loved the playroom. Highly recommended for a lovely stay by the sea.

Diana’s beautiful countryside cottage is nestled into the East Sussex countryside, providing a quiet and remote getaway, but within easy drive of shops and several lovely Sussex towns and villages. Beautiful walks in the area.. in the winter bring your waterproof boots and enjoy!! Great for a stay with family or friends, lots of lovely spaces in the house ( the photos don’t do it justice). We stayed between Christmas and new year, so we appreciated and enjoyed the abundance of coal for our daily evening fires, providing a warm and very cozy atmosphere. Very well equipped kitchen with enough space around the table for 6 or 7 people. All our needs were met. Well worth a stay, I would highly recommend this place and we will surely return! Gill

I stayed at Andrew's place for a week with my husband and 3 year old son and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The open kitchen/lounge area works well with young children. The wood burner had a sturdy safety gate and all plug sockets had protective covers. It's well placed for visiting the local area. Plenty of national trust properties nearby and we drove the Heart of Kent route one day. Port Lympe zoo is also brilliant. Unfortunately, our son became ill during our stay so we had to cut our stay short by a couple of days. Despite that, my son hasn't stopped talking about our stay at Long Stable and will be booking a return stay in the near future. Marie, Oli and Alfie.

Second time staying here. Absolutely fantastic place, and Caroline is a brilliant host. Would highly recommend.
