Welcome to our home: where we have found peace and relaxation for over 20 years. A German native, Big R fell in love with the open land and rolling hills of Wisconsin, becoming a US citizen in the 80s. He met Curly, a Chicago city girl, who brought a little city to his country life. They enjoy raising buffalo and spending warmer days on their porch enjoying the fresh air and beautiful views (with no mosquitos!). Now they want to share their idyllic and peaceful home with you. Drive down a dead-end road and pull up to a rustic cabin filled with high-tech and cozy amenities. We have something for everyone with a gas fireplace, tv (complete with dish, Cinemax, HBO and a Bluetooth sound system), board games and a full kitchen. Take a drink outside to soak in the hot tub or sit around the campfire. When the day is done, you will fall asleep instantly on the memory foam bed, either in the loft or the bedroom, and wake up to a beautiful sunrise looking out over your little getaway.

Just a wonderful 3 day stay during a curling bonspiel in Columbia County. What a beautiful cabin tucked back in a private wooded area with a wealth of wildlife ( deer, turkeys, eagles). Melissa gets all the details right and takes away any worries associated with staying away from home. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for something that feels like home. . Warm and welcoming hosts - so nice to have a kind note, lights on, and chocolates and wine waiting for us (although we did not partake in the wine - but loved the intent behind it). Definitely hunting cabin vibes -- we are so jealous and wish we had this type of accommodation for when we go hunting. Another nice thing: we weren't asked to strip sheets, run the dishwasher, wash towels and take out the garbage like so many other Airbnbs (what's the point of the cleaning fee if the guest has to do half the work?). All that was asked was to put used towels in a pile on the floor - so appreciate that when we have to depart for an early morning flight. Thanks John and Kitty - if we are ever in the area in the future, we will be sure to book again.

Mark's cabin was one of the best air bnb's i've stayed at. Simple, great location relative to bike paths and a well prepared fire ready to light. A great place to reset and relax. Every aspect of the cabin was well thought through- from the comfort of the bed to the lighting. All dishes were beautiful ceramic. I have already recommended this place to several friends.

I was looking for a spot to stay near Cascade, so I could take my kids skiing for the first time. I can't imagine there are many options as close as this cabin. It is 3 miles from the Cascade parking lot. The space is pretty new, and there is just about everything a hotel room would provide plus the kitchenette. It also has a cooktop I didn't use. We were there when it was sub 5 degrees overnight and the whole space stayed warm. I didn't expect too many amenities, but they provided towels, bedding, bars of soap, extras of everything. It was a great stay and the kids loved it.

Brookes Pine Lodge was more than I could have wanted. The place was larger than expected and fully stocked with a full kitchen set and even included an air mattress for our stay. The big back yard right on the lake was absolutely stunning especially during the sunset. The place was cozy, clean, and comfortable. The lower level was a little bit cold but the view of the lake, the extra bathroom, and the full bar really made up for it. This place our entire crew comfortably with enough parking for 6 cars. Brooke was very helpful, informative, and very responsive. Would definitely stay here again.
