Cottage vacation rentals in Los Angeles

This is our 3rd time staying at Joseph & Kelly’s place! It is always a pleasure! They make you feel right at home and are willing to help with any need! We love this place and plan to return very soon!

Wir sind sehr dankbar dass wir die Zeit in der Hummingbird Retreat verbringen durften. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und unser Kinder wollten gar nicht weg, sie möchten Karen sehr gerne....die auch wirklich ein sehr netter Mensch ist. ich finde die Unterkunft in wirklich noch viel schöner und größer als auf den Bildern, Topangas Flair hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen... wir würden gerne irgendwann wieder an diesen Ort zurückkehren.

Our stay here was quick, but just what we were looking for—peaceful and quiet. Our family of six stayed, and one reason we chose it was because each of our four kids would have their own bed. No pillow barriers needed haha. Speaking of beds, these were the *most* comfortable ones we’ve used at an AirBnB. The space was comfy, inviting, and super cool. We loved looking at all the music industry memorabilia, too; what a neat legacy for Michele to share with her AirBnB guests! One thing to note: the place is a converted garage so it is cooled and heated with a mini-split. It wasn’t turned on when we got there, and we wish it had been because it was a pretty cold, drizzly night (December) and took a long time to heat up. So if you stay here, maybe request that it be turned on in advance of your arrival. I’m sure the property management wouldn’t mind at all because they were nothing but accommodating and welcoming. Our big family felt lucky to find this place to stay while in the area.

MK is a fantastic host! Her place is in a wonderful, central location that allows you to easily get around LA which is saying a lot as LA can be a tough city to get around in. The home matched the description and photos. MK was very accommodating, flexible, kind, and responsive - thank you for a great stay!

The Carriage house is locate on a fabulous property. You will enjoy your visit. If you have a dog the dog will enjoy the giant lawn in front of the carriage house. The grounds around the carriage house are beautiful. I will stay in Pasadena many times in the future and hope I will be lucky enough to enjoy the carriage house. The Carriage house has a microwave, coffee maker, and a refrigerator. It also has a large screen TV.

Our stay here was amazing! Ron and Paty were the sweetest. I traveled with my 8 month old twins and they accommodated us with a crib and highchair. I was even able to check in a bit early. Cottage is cozy and in a quiet area. If it was a little warmer we would have definitely utilized the pool. Thanks again Ron and Paty for opening your home to my family!

The home was great for what we needed! The home was very nice and the area was peaceful. Would recommend if you need a place to sleep while you go out and about during the day!

I had a perfect stay at Kathryns place. Kathryn was a wonderful host, communication was great and anything i needed was answered straight away. The cottage was very comfortable and super clean. It was very well equipped with everything you could need. The bed was very comfortable also. Kathrys place is perfectly located, it it in a nice quiet neighbourhood and yet only 10 mins cycle from the beach and shops. I found the bike that was available to use really handy, I used it every day! I will be returning to Huntington beach next year and will definitely be returning to stay at Kathryns place.

Kind hosts. Thoughtful. The space aligned with my whole being perfectly. Clean. Spacious. Big door windows, spaces outside to relax, meditate, eat, daydream. All appliances worked. A solid workspace. I was escaping home renovations and had a lot of consulting work to do during my stay. It was the perfect accommodation for my needs. And the view reminded me of childhood in LA. You won’t go wrong with this place.

A very modern and private guest house! Joel provided very clear and detailed instructions regarding location on maps, Check in/check out , WiFi, and parking as well as recommendations.Upon arrival check in was super easy! Very clean and spotless! Location was also a big plus! Highly recommend!!

Chuck and Adrian were a great host. They were very easy to communicate and provided clear instructions. We absolutely loved the cottage - a very charming cottage in the Studio Village.

Was absolutely adorable it was a planned trip for my boyfriend and me but instead it was a friend of mine and me was very comfortable and cozy and overall a perfect little get away spot would definitely recommend it to my friends

OMGEE! Bob’s place was FABULOUS as was the weather and the location! Because we flew to SoCal, we took an Uber to Trader Joe’s and made all our meals in the well appointed kitchen and using the handy outdoor grill. Bob was very flexible about allowing us to store our luggage and that was much appreciated. We spent many nights on the front deck, drinking wine and enjoying the ocean breeze. Surf Liquor and 7-11 were just up the block for any small, forgotten items. A truly wonderful week and we’ll be back next year!

What a special, SPECIAL place. I was so sad to leave and STILL wish I was there right now. The perfect little escape, was pretty much a wellness retreat. We got to reset and relax before the start of the new year in this storybook home surrounded by Mother Nature. Doing yoga under the trees, seeing all the hummingbirds and butterflies come to visit, enjoying the cowboy hot tub under the stars, sweating it out in the infrared sauna, and getting cozy inside the most charming home was exactly what we needed after a long year of work and travel. This is such a sweet and special place and we can't wait to return one day!! Amazing location. You can have all the privacy, peace and quiet you want, or you can go into "town" and grab a bite or get to the store if needed. Convenient, yet private - the winning combination when it comes to location. All of the stars go to the host - Lynne is a total sweetheart. Super responsive and easy to communicate with. We can't thank her enough!
