The house is beautiful and so big ! We were 2 couples , the layout of the house is very comfortable . We went on a date where it was already cold and we had heating (which if you keep with taking a lot of things together porq the thermal jumps) , it rained us a lot. We had even board games in the house , the light was cut by the rain and we had candles and everything we needed . Everything spotless clean , the house has a beautiful view and is super quiet away from everything ! What if you have a very nice and rich restaurant steps away if you go to this house and it's Sunshine we ✨ did not have the pleasure of meeting the owners in person but the communication was excellent ! The home is located in a very peaceful and quiet city, perfect if you want to get away from the crowds and visit the western and upper part of the island. Antonio was very hospitable and welcoming :)

We spent six wonderful days at Carlos and Mauricio’s beautiful house. The drive to the house is a bit tricky, we recommend not taking the route through the village that Google Maps leads you but to follow Carlos instructions. Once you made it to the house you get rewarded with the most stunning view of the ocean. We were greeted by Mauricio who provided us with helpful recommendations and even fresh fruit, bread, cheese and wine. The house is equipped with everything you need and the bed is really comfortable. We were really lucky with the weather so we spent most of the time in the lovely garden. We had a BBQ at the fireplace and watched breathtaking sunsets every night. If Madeira wasn’t so beautiful we could have happily relaxed in the garden the whole time. In the area are a few cute villages and hikes along the levadas or coastline. A car is absolutely necessary for getting around. We highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a quiet holiday in nature!
