Vacation rentals in Câmara de Lobos

We stayed at the house for almost a week and it felt like home. The view was so beautiful, house so spacious and clean and aesthetic, the kitchen also has everything you need to cook, outside area is also great for having BBQ and relax by the pool. Tatiana was always responsive to messages and gave us recommendations where to go for shopping and eating. We would come back again definitely. The location is also great because you are close to Funchal, or can explore any other spot on the island within 30 mins to 1 hour with car. Big thanks to our hosts!

Very nice apartment with all amenities including a covered garage. A superb sea view from every room in the apartment: breakfast in the morning overlooking the sea of happiness... We were well looked after at the beginning and end of our stay. The building is located in a quiet area and, at the same time, it is very quick to access the expressways: to visit the whole island it was great. Recommended apartment.

Everything was wonderful. We felt very welcome with Carlos and Maria. The two are great hosts and even provided us with some fresh fruit and vegetables and other food to get us started. We had a great time there!

Beautiful apartment in a great location. It's very spacious with all the amenities you need. It has a great sea view with access to pools as well. It has a small gym too. There is a big supermarket a 5 minute walk away and many restaurants in the area too. It also comes with a free parking bay. It's also only a 10/15 minutes drive into Old Town Funchal. Highly recommend a stay here if you are looking to come to Madeira.

Vila da Eva is highly recommended. It is located in a quiet village, a little further from the tourist centers. This does ensure that you can enjoy in peace, which we found a plus. The view from the terrace and living room is truly sublime. You overlook the sea and the hills. The communication with Eva was very good and fast. We were also able to check in a little earlier than listed on the site. The house is perfectly fine. Very neat and clean. The kitchen is fully equipped. We regularly cooked ourselves and everything was at hand. Ah yes... Bar do Russo (100m walking distance) is really recommended if you want to taste a delicious strong poncha among the locals. Absolutely do! In short: Vila da Eva is highly recommended!!!!!!!

This was a beautiful place to stay. Very secluded and private but also cosy and well-equipped. It was so clean and felt like we were the first and only guests ever to stay here! Some nice thoughtful touches to make us feel welcome and comfortable too such as blankets, wine and biscuits! Don't forget to bring your slippers though as the floor is cold though the blankets and heaters provided were much appreciated. The mountain views were incredible and well worth the steep, narrow drive up. Eva was there to meet us and had sent us very detailed instructions and a video to help us find it as it is quite remote. Eva was a very responsive host and easily contactable throughout our stay with recommendations for walks and restaurants in the local area. The only downside was the ants but I liked the fact that Eva used chemical free solutions to this. I would definitely recommend staying here if you love nature and peace and quiet. I could happily have sat and stared at the views all day!

What a view! Amazing. During the colder months, I highly recommend paying to have the pool heated (30 euro/day). Once the water warmed up, we used it every day and it was comfortable even when the weather was cold. There were plenty of extra towels. We also enjoyed the pool table and ping pong. House also has easy access to hiking paths (one trail passes immediately behind villa). The few drawbacks of the villa were limited seating in living room (an additional small sofa and some end tables would help for groups of 4+), kitchen has a full set of dishes but not quite enough for two meals (i.e., ran out of plates if some were still in dishwasher from the prior meal) and, for us, the clothes dryer was broken (hopefully will be fixed soon). None of these distracted from the chance to enjoy breakfast on such a patio. Orlanda was very responsive and even met us in town to show us the way.

This is one of my favorite absolute places I’ve ever stayed in my life! The views were absolutely incredible and the house was so cozy! Sunset is beautiful in any of the balconies and would stay here again 👍🏼🌴😆 Thank you Jose!!
