I thoroughly enjoyed my three night stay. The annexe is not just a functional place to stay but a restful place to be I The place was perfect for me.After visiting bustling Portsmouth this was a real haven. Spotlessly clean and provided with everything required for comfort and convenience. Breakfast provided was tasty - excellent home made jam. A big bonus was the care and attention put in to furnishing and decor. Bedroom and bathroom were of great quality Bright lounge with great tv choices and books. The garden was very pretty and outdoor space was private. Helen and John were friendly and helpful.

Great place, great location

My husband and I chose this accommodation for us and our two children to stay whilst we visited family. Perfectly situated with your own wee parking spot, a well equipped kitchen with a washing machine - perfect if you've got children! The hosts provided some coffee, tea, sugar, milk and choccie biccies too- a lovely touch when you've travelled over 450 miles. A lovely big bathroom with a gorgeous bath and large shower cubicle. Two well proportioned bedrooms with storage and lots of towels. Fantastic views over the Solent and towards the Isle of Wight can be enjoyed from the main bedroom and the lounge. Highly recommend.

Solent View is a large, comfortable house and is exactly what you see in the description. Plenty of room for 6 of us, a nice 10 minute walk into Lee along the sea when it is fine and books and games to entertain if it is wet. Portsmouth attractions also on tap via a pleasant foot ferry from Gosport, 10 mins drive away. Overall, a really good lication for a family stay and Mark and Lesley were attentive and caring hosts. Recommend.
