Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Monona

Very spacious, comfortable home in a quiet setting. Kitchen was well stocked with the basics for our visit. Host was in communication about the property over the weekend.

Home is VERY clean, comfortable, and in a peaceful setting. Beds were comfortable. Garage available to park in was a huge plus!

Our stay at Connie's Airbnb was incredible!!! As soon as we walked in we felt right at home. We arrived to a hand written note on the counter along with some complimentary chips and smores. We visited in the fall time for a UW-Whitewater homecoming football game. The place was decorated with fall décor, and they even placed a mini football with a Warhawk head on the table - such a thoughtful little touch! We had three couples total for the weekend and all of us were very comfortable. My husband and I took the bed in the basement and we slept great every night. Highly highly recommend Connie's Airbnb if you're looking for a place to stay in or around the Whitewater area!

I can't express enough how lovely this home is. We stayed with family in the winter, and it was very cozy. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were very responsive and very accommodating. I loved the location, it was private and close to things, which is hard to find.

My husband and I visited this rental for the first time recently and fell in love. It was close to our family but decent space to relax and was quite! I would 100% recommend this rental and the owner was SO helpful and responsive. Couldn’t recommend a better place in the area!

The house feels like home. Joane decorates the place beautifully and it has all the amenities you'd ever need. She thinks of everything and makes the stay very easy!

Everything with our stay was awesome! Amy has a lovely home - very comfortable, clean, cozy and in a convenient location. It had everything we needed, and then some … the perfect setup for our family over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Amy was very responsive, helpful and kind - the hospitality was appreciated! We will definitely look to stay here again!

My family and I absolutely loved this little cottage and will be back to experience it in the summer. Felt like home right away with some amazing antiques. Dogs were super friendly and welcoming. Views are absolutely amazing and the lake is gorgeous at sunrise. Welcome binder had tons of things to do (Maps of ATV trails and their own trails around the property) and places to go for shopping and site seeing. Also, had very clear instructions on how to use all the things and what to do to help at check out. House was very clean and had everything you would need. Lots for our kids to do, tons of games (giant Jenga was our favorite), trails to walk (Very well maintained), Alexa for jams while relaxing and Wifi for our phones for game time (teenagers 🙄😂). Lots of room for all of us to sleep comfortably and there were 7 of us. All in all would highly recommend! You will not be disappointed!! Thank you for an amazing weekend ❤️

Charming second floor space, three large bedrooms, cute bathroom, kitchen was well appointed, living room was cozy. Very walkable neighborhood and we loved the nearby coffee shop.

Loved this stay! Raj and Cecilia have created a delightful experience in their apartment. It is super roomy, ceilings are nice and high despite it being a basement. Beds were comfortable, ample kitchen, supplied shampoo/cond/soap in shower. it felt very private. Close to the darling Main Street in town with lovely coffee shops. Would definitely stay again.

Was just like being at home even better had everything you needed to get started with coffee maker to toaster. I did not have to take anything. She made sure if we had any issues she took care of right away. My four legged girls enjoyed it they had plenty of space where they could run and play And sitting on the patio was so beautiful watching the stars drinking coffee. I do highly recommend it and yes, I would stay there again and we do plan on coming back up that way this summer. There’s so much to do just there around town . The laundromat was very close, which also has a dog wash and you can wash your car to your laundry your pet in your car all in one place

Chris’ place was just as we expected. It’s the second time we’ve stayed at one of his properties and we have not been disappointed. They’ve been extremely clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We will definitely not hesitate to stay there again.

Alex was incredibly flexible with our group’s varied check-ins and check-outs. Other members of my group met him and his partner and expressed that they were both very friendly and welcoming! It is an older building so the floors squeak a bit, but I have no complaints. We enjoyed Madison and this place was perfect for our stay. The sunroom overlooking the lake was unbelievable!

We loved the location of the AirBnB….grocery store, restaurants, bars, and the state capitol were all within walking distance. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The beds were comfortable. The street parking was okay, definitely need to read the signs. We appreciated everything about this place.

We had a great stay in Lake Mills... the condo was as described and was a great centralized location while were in the area visiting family. Having two rooms helps a lot when traveling with children. The location was clean and tidy, we didn't have any drafts inside despite being quite cold outside, and the contact Neal was friendly and accommodating.

Jonathan was a very gracious host and interesting and fun to speak with. He made my stay comfortable and relaxed. I enjoyed meeting him. The room was as described and entering and exiting the home was easy, even when I came home late. I’d stay here again.

We had an amazing stay! The house was absolutely perfect—spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked, making it easy to cook and enjoy meals together. The game room was a highlight and provided hours of fun for everyone. The location was convenient and made our trip to Madison even better. We’ll definitely be staying here again on our next visit. The three of us absolutely loved the home. We had our own bedrooms and bathrooms, it was very clean - everything looked new! Well stocked kitchen, a beautiful view of the golf course. Very comfortable beds. It was a great getaway close to hiking trails at Devil's Lake State Park. I plan to return!
