Place was very clean, like spotless clean! Place is very charming and unique.Gets a bit noisy since it’s by the street but didn’t really bother us. The only thing is, it was really windy during our stay that the windows in front was loud and kept rattling,we had to put some towels to prevent it from making too much noise, otherwise it’ll keep us awake the whole night, the towels did help! Everything was great, Michael was very responsive and Amber was very nice and accommodating. We had a great stay. They have a very reasonable price too as compared to others I looked at. Would recommend the place!😊

This was the perfect spot for our family! It is in an amazing area that is walking distance from the beach, pier, and a ton of restaurants. The house was amazing and perfect for our small family with great amenities and a perfect front patio to enjoy the weather. If you are a light sleeper or have tiny ones, there is some evening noise from bars/restaurants late at night but it did not impact us or our kids at all. (They slept rightly through it with ease) The home is extremely clean, nice and open inside, and check-in/check-out was extremely easy. 10/10!

Ahhhdorable Vintage Storybook Cottage is truly a gem! The location couldn’t be better — just a short walk to both the lake and the village. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm, homey feeling. The cottage smelled amazing and was absolutely spotless. We especially loved the fenced front yard, which was perfect for our little corgi — he didn’t want to leave when it was time to check out! The kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, and everything we needed to cook during our stay. My husband and I had a wonderful time in Big Bear relaxing and unwinding, and staying at this cottage made it all the more perfect. Huge thanks to the wonderful hosts — the cleanliness and thoughtful touches throughout the cabin truly show how much they care about their guests’ experience. Highly recommend!

We frequent Dana Point for whale watching, and this was the second time that Ed has hosted us. Going forward, there will be no other option for us. Ed genuinely cares for his guest's comfort and well-being. The place is absolutely beautiful (for us land lubbers, the flora included in Ed's landscaping is just breathtaking - for example, pull into the car port in the back and find it lined with giant white birds-of-paradise; it gets better...). What a perfect location - the marina, a grocery store, and lots of places to dine are within short walking distance. This was perfect for us, as we like to both cook and dine out. The kitchen is very well appointed and the grill is great - you can cook and serve pretty much anything. Thank you so much Ed - we really aprreciated it. See you next year should you be so inclined!
