Junko is a nice landlord, providing a lot of recommendation about trips in Kyoto. As for the equipments in the accommodation, all the things I need have been prepared, and a map of nearby neighborhood is provided. On the day I move out, Junko provided a drive to my next destination. This accommodation is a nice place to stay in Kyoto. With enthusiastic service from Junko, even I just arrived in Kyoto, I have known about this city and culture well.

Location is near the train station, and is 1 stop away from Shin-Osaka which is great if you’re travelling out to other areas. Many great local food options around the area too. Accoms is clean and cozy, but do note that it’s on the third story and there are no elevators so make sure you’re able to carry your luggages up the stairs

The host was very welcoming. He picked us up at the bus stop and offered us snacks. The location is not far from the bus stops. So it can be accepted even it is far from the downtown. Very cost-effective.

Perfectly located, friendly host and a nice neighbourhood. I was for two weeks there and I've enjoyed it. The only thing is that it is really sunny in the morning, so if you need darkness don't forget your sleeping mask 😀

The apartment is clean and comfortable, located in the calm neighborhood with an ancient tea house and temples nearby. Convenient transport available. The owner is very-very kind and hospitable and is always ready to help or give an advice. I absolutely recommend this accommodation for staying in Kyoto.

It was my first time using it, but they handled it comfortably, and they always took care of me during my stay, which was really helpful from top to bottom. I slept comfortably in the bed! It was close to the station, and there were food shops and a supermarket convenience store nearby, making it convenient. Anyway, the landlord's response is too good, and I recommend this place to everyone. I want to stay again. Thank you.

Junko’s husband Masami is the one replies and checks you in. He is a very kind man who has been really supportive and responsive every time I needed something. Every time you ask him something he does not fail to provide. He gave me great local recommendations. Even though the place is a bit far from the main subway, the place was great and very clean. Thank you!

A very comfortable, spacious, well equipped home in a quiet neighbourhood in northern Kyoto. TG, the host was extremely helpful and explained everything about the accommodation and the area very clearly. Highly recommended.

The reason i booked this house was i wanted to stay in old japanese home and the house was as i expected it to be... amenities were in abundance and Takeda was flexible with the check in..of course we as travellers need to understand that early check in is possible only if the previous guest checked out on timely basis and cleaning is completed...

It is really a great homestay, my friends and I are very happy, it is really convenient for travelers who want to cook, and the utensils are fully equipped!Both were able to wash at the same time while taking a shower, the hot water was stable, and the host responded instantly with any questions, highly recommended!

Before our stay the owner was very caring, always going the extra step to help us out in regards to public transport and sightseeing Providing even recommendations and even car transportation. Accomodation was warm and welcoming, tidy clean, filling breakfasts every morning aswell. Would recommend to anyone looking for an authentic Japanese stay with a welcoming host. Perfect for groups over 4+. A million stars would be given if not for the limit. Our group cannot thank them enough.

This is an amazing town if you enjoy beaches and mountains, and the house is right on the beach! The house is spacious, clean with great amenities. The washer/dryer combination was an excellent touch, as was the full size refrigerator. The owner was there to walk us through everything including setting up the television for us to use his Amazon Fire stick for our use. At the end he even gave me a gift as thanks for staying! I had friends over for dinner and they were thoroughly impressed with the modern beauty of the house. And that tub is amazing! I would definitely stay here again!

Extremely quiet space. Away from the center then becomes a refuge in the middle of Kyoto. In addition to bringing the feel of a traditional Japanese house.
