Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Kumejima, Shimajiri District

Cool old western style house on private beach and with a small cafe next door. Central location on island so you can go either north or south for sightseeing. Host provided rental car and airport pickup/dropoff for a reasonable fee.

Great traditional home for a family vacation. We loved the location - great to walk into town for the beach or restaurants, but still private and off the main road. The owner is very nice and has great communication. We will stay again if we return to Kumejima!

It was super close to ferry so the location was perfect for our stay. Very quiet and calm environment.

I was lost near the entrance of the accommodation for the first time, but I quickly found it due to the host's smooth communication. It was a better accommodation than what you see in the photos, and the bathroom was a little old, but it was separated from the bathroom, and the bathroom was so clean. We had a really comfortable stay like our own home for two nights and three days. There was a lot of grass around, so I baked some mosquitoes, but other than that, I was satisfied with everything else, and it was so disappointing that I couldn't use the barbecue grill outside. Everything was so hard to see as an amenity. The washer and dryer are really good!! The welcome donuts were also so delicious. If I ever visit Okinawa again, it was good enough to revisit.

The host was very attentive, it took us some time to get out to the offsite waiting, the homestay was also thoughtful to prepare 2 little dolls for our daughters, were able to contact the host at any time, it was easy to rent a car directly with the host, we had children and elderly people in our group, worried that we had trouble returning the car directly at the airport. The location of the B&B is quiet, the interior of the house is very clean and the bathroom can take a bath, it is really pushy

This is our second stay since last year.We loved the quiet location anyway.I was contacted that I was able to rent a bicycle, so I was able to extend my foot to Hamahiga Island without hesitation.There were mosquitoes even in mid-November, so the mosquito coil was very helpful.I'd love to visit again if I get the chance.

Mayu’s place was great! Honestly, I don’t think the pictures did the location justice! It was a cute and quiet location. The view from the kitchen window was amazing. Specially at sunset! If you have dogs it’s almost perfect. My two mini dachshunds had great walks around the neighborhood and could even play in the yard!

Kattaka has an incredible house for long term stays and especially if you have pets. I researched this site for awhile trying to find a place that was pet friendly, within the per diem allowance, and with enough space where we wouldn’t be falling over each other. This house was a perfect match. It has everything you need for several month stay while you house hunt. The photos do not adequately convey the space and layout…you have two separate bedrooms, with one in an L shape with two twin beds and a desk. Plenty of closet storage for luggage and items while you await your next house. There is a washing machine with drying lines outside on one of two patios. The house has covered parking and is walking distance to a Lawsons and three izakayas that serve delicious food and beers. Camp Courtney is 8 minutes away and has a 24hr gym. It took me about 24 minutes most days to reach Camp Foster via the expressway.

Great location and peaceful getaway.

It was a short one night stay, but I felt like I wanted to be more relaxed.It is well cleaned and clean.I was also happy with the Christmas tree at the entrance.

The brothers and sisters loved it so much ^ ^ It was even better because the accommodation was very tidy and it was a new building. It was cold because there was hot water in the pool, but I was able to enjoy the pool as well. I want to go again next time ~

Shampoo, conditioner, body soap (Marks and web rosemary), was helpful. There are amenities such as toothbrushes and razor cotton swabs (I don't remember the comb.) I think women will be comfortable if they have a set of skincare, hair products, and pajamas. The dryer also dried quickly with gas, which was very good. Even if it is naturally dried, there are plenty of laundry and hangers provided, and the washroom and bath (no door, just the steps are open), so I think you can dry it there. It was a private space that I didn't think was adjacent to two properties. There were a lot of windows, so it was bright and relaxing! (It was not suitable for people who want to sleep in the dark, and I was comfortable with the moonlight.) The pool is right at the entrance, it was deeper and hot anyways so you can soak to your neck and cooldown The adjacent barbecue corner felt like it didn't rain The baking person will get wet, and it will bake it with a mood.　 It seems that there is a lot of glass and the temperature rises easily, so when I go to sleep in the summer, I think I'm confused about the air conditioner setting. I think it was just right until the morning about 20 degrees. The bath is also spacious like a shared hot tub in a small homestay, so you can immerse yourself in luxury. There is also 2 liters of water. Anyway, it was a big big help. The view was also very good, and I ate a pizza that I took out with a nice pizza called a mimosa tree nearby, and my stay ended quickly. I wanted to go to Kutakajima, so I checked out around 7:20. I wanted to be slower. I was wondering if there was not much water coming from the left side of the sink. Rest assured, you can let me know the room key by the check-in time! I would definitely like you to go to Kutakajima Island from Azama Port within 10 minutes. There was also a relevant book in the room. Today, the beginning of Okinawa, the island of God, which is autonomous without being invaded by foreign capital. You can feel that the islanders are keeping the sacred coast clean and keeping their prayers on the road. At that time, you can't take home coral, seashells, etc.

Great location, not far from the sand It feels like home

I came on a diving tour for 5 people. There is a distance from the Hongstar Diving Shop, but it was close to the big mart, so it was convenient for the location because you could walk around. The privacy was good because it was a single-family home that only we use. There is a toilet, a bathroom, and a laundromat on the first floor. There is a bathroom, living room, and kitchen on the second floor. There are 3 bedrooms on the 3rd floor with 3 beds There is a table and chairs on the rooftop on the 4th floor. From the rooftop, you can see the sunrise and sunset, and you can see the sea and hear the sound of the waves. It was a romantic boat. If there was any inconvenience while staying for 4 nights, I had to go to the second floor when I went to the bathroom while sleeping. There is also a point where towels are not added and you have to wash them yourself. You have to do the laundry every day. Other than that, the facilities were all neat and new. I definitely want to use it next time.

This is a two-story house in a quiet residential area, it is clean and tidy, and very comfortable to live in.It takes about five or six minutes to reach the small beach and Lawson.Almost all the supplies are provided on the web, with two toilets and one bathroom, and the bath water is warm and the amount of water is very satisfying.I stayed for three consecutive nights, only a few places to strengthen, first of all, there was no rag, and then some pots had floated with no paint, we had to cook with a small pot to barely cook.Again, because you can't open the window, the indoor humidity is very high. I washed my clothes on the first night. The next day, I didn't dry. The next day, the clothes smelled a little. The next day, I quickly moved to the bathroom to blow the heater.It would be better if dehumidification was available.Overall, I recommend this house to stay here. It really feels like home.

The interior was beautifully cleaned, and the amenities were plentiful, so we had a comfortable time. I am only grateful for the polite message exchange and the response to my requests.

We loved our stay. It was very comfortable and the location is really hard to beat. We don’t drive so having access to the bus was very helpful and there are plentiful taxis to get around. It would be tough to beat the cost and location. The host was also very friendly but still gave us our privacy.
